Hotel needs an ugrade

Pros: location
Cons: dirty carpet, a lot of broken small things (safe, napkin wall mount cover, rattling elevator
Location: Perfect. Near Milano Centrale
Hotel is near the Central Train Station. They are planning to renovate the hotel starting next month and will close down several floors. Anyway, stayed in this hotel for 4 nights between 5/19/2013 and 5/24/2013 on the 16th floor. We got a Junior Suite so the room is expectedly bigger. Toilet is clean and water pressure is ok. Breakfast is ok too. For the negatives, first off, the elevator is creating a lot of rattling noise. Carpet in the room is dirtly and old. If you are allergic, like me, you will suffer. My room safe is old and does not work. The TV in the room is a small analog (tube type) . The tissue napkin wall mount is also broken and fell without warning. Wifi signal is patchy and cant be relied on to do some work. If you are planning to book, pls request for the newly renovated rooms.

One night in Milan
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: The room was large and comfortable with good wi-fi connection.
Cons: Finding it! The entrance is not easy to spot, especially in the rain!
Location: Close to the rail station - ideal for rail travelers.
The hotel is a 'classic style' hotel in a convenient location close to the rail station. It is however, tucked away behind other buildings and is not easy to find. The 3-person room we had was very spacious and comfortable. It worked well for a one-night stay in Milan.

Great hotel overall
Posted Jan 24, 2013
Pros: Location, rooms
Probably depends on the rate you can get on the hotel. I got a good deal. It's a 4 Star hotel, it's not going to be the 4 stars you would expect elsewhere...adjust expectations to the location (Europe#. We had a room for 3, decent channels on tv, few English channels, and several sports channels which was nice #all in Italian#. Good room size, a few minute walk for the station. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good#included). Only downside is no Wifi at all unless you pay something like 12 Euro for the package. Overall, I thought it was a great hotel for a midpriced hotel in Milan. You can definitely find cheaper which I usually go for when staying myself in Europe, but I had my parents with me who wanted something really close to train station, a private bathroom, etc. Actually better than other 4 star hotels i've stayed in Italy overall.

Only a three star hotel!
Posted Jan 19, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Good
The location of the hotel is good but the hotel can only be rated a three star. Only one of the 5 front desk staff is friendly and professional. The rest of them are not qualified to be in the job. The breakfast is awful in quality and limited in choice.

"Give Yourself a Treat in Milan"

The Una Hotel in Milan is very clean, accomodating and well worth the money. The food is good and the service is excellent. They go out of their way help you and answer your questions. Although the hotel is near the Centarl Train Station it is a little hard to find.

Cheap and cheerful

Cons: The food is disappointing for any hotel let alone one in Italy
The hotel is out of the centre of Milan so not suitable for anyone who can't walk far. Very convenient for the central train station and connections to either airport. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of a facelift but the rooms are clean spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is average but acceptable. Do not under any circumstance eat any other meal in the hotel or order room service - it is expensive and all you will get is a microwave meal for one served to you. There are lots of places close by to eat around the train station. There are lots of homeless people sleeping on the streets nearby so not suitable for someone travelling on their own. The open top bus tour departs from outside the train station which will get you to all the places you will want to see or it's a half hour walk to the centre. Staff at the hotel are pleasant.

Big rooms , breakfast was nice

A friend of mine recommended this hotel for me and I was not very disappointed but I expected to be better. The lady who was at the reception was not very welcoming. May be nothing to do with the hotel but just before going inside the hotel, we were approached by two men without uniform pretending to be a police men and showing a fake ID and speaking italian. God knows what they wanted but you need to be careful and aware things like that might happen to you. We ignored them but were shocked.
