Great staff, location and price!

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Cost, convenience of location, hot breakfast, friendly staff
Cons: As usual, the bathroom was small, bedding was adequate not luxurious
Location: Eastern Montana is a great place to explore- dinosaur bones, Lewis and Clark historical sites
We made a late afternoon reservation on the road home and were pleased to find the hotel just what we needed- a clean, affordable room with a fabulous, hot breakfast! The staff were pleasant and engaging. Our kids had stayed there the previous week when en route to a week-long backpacking trip with their church youth group. They enjoyed the pool and hot tub as they arrived late afternoon. We'd all definately choose to stay there again!

Traveling through

Posted Jul 22, 2014
This hotel is very conveniently located off the interstate, but did not hear any noise from it. The hotel is a little older, but has a nice country feel to it and is clean. The pool is smaller, but the kids still had fun. The breakfast had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, and potatoes, in addition to the usual baked goods. I'd happily stay there again.

Adequate but nothing special

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: This hotel backs up against a pretty sage brush covered hill which is very pleasant if you get a room facing that direction.
Cons: Bleaching the face clothes, they were quite grey.
I stayed here several nights. It is a very ordinary but acceptable hotel at $110. The final night in Miles City I stayed across the street in the Comfort Inn and found it a better value. In both hotels, I spent one night in a handicap room. Having had to travel in a wheel chair and on crutches, for almost a month, two years ago with a broken leg, I have a pretty clear understanding of what is needed in a handicap room. The Comfort Inn was far better. The bathroom floor was a non slippery hard tile vs. the semi slippery linoleum in this hotel. The tub fill handle was jammed tight at GuestHouse and I doubt I could have turned the water on. All the plumbing worked properly at Comfort Inn and the grab bars were more extensive and well placed and the Comfort Inn's furnishings were not only nicer quality but better suited to someone with limited mobility. Comfort Inn also serves fresh fruit with their breakfast while GuestHouse only provides juice. GuestHouse does however provide sausage patties, which some people, would really appreciate.

Great for travelers.

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Clean. Friendly staff.
Cons: It was a fair price for clean, sleeping accommodations.
Location: Location is just off the freeway that stretches east to west through North Dakota and the eastern part of Montana. Didn't check local events.
We had a quick stay on our way through Miles City. A big storm blew in and we decided to stay. Staff was adequate, friendly, and what we would expect for a hotel on the side of a freeway. Breakfast was typical and fair. We will stop by again if circumstances arise, but not really a place I would stay for an extended period of time, or for part of a vacation package.

Nice quiet hotel

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Nice and quiet, you could not hear other in there rooms or traffic from the highway.
Cons: The exercise bike in the workout room needs to be fixed.
Location: Had a great dinner at the Montana Rib and Chophouse, they even had a gluten free menu which is very important to us as our daughter has Celiac disease
Nice hotel, just off the interstate but surprisingly quiet, we could not hear the highway or any other traffic. The hot breakfast was very good. The pool and workout room were nice. My parents had stayed here before and recommended it, I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Overall good hotel, no elevator for disable access. Plenty of shopping within driving distance. Not a lot of history or sites close to see.

Good place for a peaceful break from the road.

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Convenient and clean - good value
Location: Just a good place to stop before traveling through the ND oil patch. Decent local restaurants - recommend the Black Iron Grill just a few blocks away
Comfortable and relatively new, but not fancy. A hearty breakfast of eggs, potato and bacon with other options..

Hot Breakfast

Posted May 29, 2014
Eight hot items were offered, eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, potatoes and being gluten sensitive I appreciated not having to look elsewhere for breakfast
