“Good location, clean and comfortable.”

“not impressed”

I asked for a late checkout which the woman at the desk said would be no problem. She wrote down my room number but failed to put in into the computer. When I arrived back at the hotel at 1:00 p.m. to check out, all of my belongings were thrown into my suitcase and were sitting behind the front desk. I was not at all pleased and the hotel staff barely even apologized. I would not stay there again.

“Overnight stay”

“Brief visit to Milford, Mass. area”

The Fairfield Inn is well situated for the business traveler with appointments in the Milford/Hopkinton area. The check-in was easy and fast, the room clean although the bathroom could use better ventilation. It has a small pool and hot tub, and although I didn't use either (didn't bring my suit) that area appeared well maintained as well. There is no full-service restaurant or bar, but there is a small area for serving a continental breakfast. The breakfast selections were good - the normal spread (bagels, muffins, "make your own" waffles, and plenty of coffee). The breakfast room can get crowded though, there are only about a half dozen tables, seating either 2 or 4 persons, plus some comfy armchairs, so if the hotel is full, get down there early if you want a table. I would return to this hotel if I come back to this area.

Area recommendations

Boston, if you haven't been there yet. Obviously, one of America's greatest cities.

“Have never been here without something being broken”

I have stayed here 8 nights in the past month, and not once has anything gone smoothly. The first trip wasn't horrible, but the pool was broken and their fix was to use the pool across the very busy highway at their sister motel. The ice machine was also broken. That was the worst of that stay, and it wasn't bad enough to keep us away. On the most recent trip, we stayed 4 nights, 3 of which were prepaid. On the night we added, we were charged double for the room, and the manager would not come in to fix the error when called. The elevator was broken as was the guest laundry, air in the main areas (lobby), the front door was stuck, the toilet in our room kept overflowing, and even though we were gone all day, our room was not cleaned until after 3:30 in the afternoon. Breakfast, though advertised as served until 9 is actually done whenever it runs out, as nothing was restocked this stay. I have stayed at this motel several times in the past, but I am done. The utter chaos, lack of apparent management and total frustration of these past couple stays make me thankful that a DoubleTree was just built in the area!!!

“The rooms were great”

The rooms in the hotel were really nice and they were clean. The pool was not well maintained. The first night we arrived the pump was not even on to circulate the water. The hot tub looked dirty so we didn't go in. Neither ice machine in the hotel was working either. The breakfast was very goo.
