Great Location great food close to cliffs of MoherPosted Oct 12, 2013
Excellent hotel with everything you need. Lovely spacious rooms . Friendly staff close enough to the cliffs of Moher without being in the thick of tourists. Beautiful location over looking a lovely bay.

Major disappointmentPosted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a badly run tacky 2 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. The reception area is quite small with a small table and 4 chairs for seating. On our way to the room at 4.30 pm there were towels and sheets in plastic bags in the bedroom corridors. The room was adequate apart from the bed which was very small and was, we were told, 4'6".The shampoo/shower gel was not replaced during our stay. At breakfast tables were not cleaned promptly and people were not able to use the tables with a sea view due to this delay. The staff were mostly young, friendly and untrained. When a guest asked for a thongs to pick up toast he was promptly handed the thongs that was being used to distribute the sausages! We ate in the bar one night and while the food was quite good we again had the experience of the staff getting the order wrong! This was corrected and the waitress staff and bar supervisor were quite friendly. However the floor of the bar was dirty with particles of food and other matter lying around. There are two bars in this hotel and on one night we attempted to have a drink but there were no tables/seats available as many of them were taken up by children. In general the hotel was a major disappointment and does not deserve a 4 star rating. It seems to cater for young families in high season but this not excuse the cleanliness and hygiene issues that we experienced. To be avoided

Very friendly and efficient service. Duvet in bed looked a bit tired. Breakfast good. evening meals limited to bar meals, a bit expensive. Bar was very congested when a coach load of guests arrived.

New quiet locks on bedroom doors - OK?Posted Jun 30, 2013
Pros: Helpful staff
Location: Gorgeous walks along beautiful coastlines
The position of the hotel is excellent overlooking the coastline. The cleanliness is very disappointing. Sticky floors in the bathroom which when cleaned remained sticky! the doors of all bedrooms slammed noisily when closed from the outside resulting in extreme annoyance for those wanting to sleep at night. The water pressure in the bathrooms was pathetic and applied to throughout the hotel. To give the staff their due, they did their level best to help us - under impossible circumstances. The weddings that took place cause the most noise and we were offered on the Saturday night a self catering cottage near the hotel which was satisfactory except that it was booked for the following nights and we were moved back into the hotel for the remainder of our stay - admittedly one of their best rooms but the noisy doors persisted.

Beautiful Wedding VenuePosted Jun 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had a fantastic time at a friends wedding. The staff were so attentive and the food was delicious. Only down side was our room was very dark (room 249) we paid €140 for the room and felt we have gotten alot better in other hotels for the money we paid.
