Outstanding place for a long weekendPosted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: The most? well staff, room, and breakfast.
Cons: When they do there renovations they need to consider better lighting in the bathroom and over the sink/refrigerator area. A better restaurant
Location: Right off the expressway less than 15 minutes away from Miller Park, Casino and downtown Milwaukee
From the beginning are experience was great. From the room with its size....cleanliness etc. it was one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in in a long time. I liked having 2 sinks....a refrigerator that worked and did not make a lot of noise. A closet to hang or clothes in. Cabinets to put things in. Breakfast was outstanding....It was nice to get eggs and omelets the way we like them. We enjoyed the managers reception although we would have liked some hot appetizers to go with the chips and pretzels. A restaurant that served regular dinners, not just pizza and burgers would also have been nice for those who didn't want to leave the hotel. I can't say enough good things and can't wait to go back there.

Worth a stay.Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: This hotel does not look like its been updated for too many years and the pool temperature has always been a little chilly for our kids.
Location: The zoo, Brookfield Square mall, many restaraunts near by.
My family and I have stayed here a couple of times. The breakfast is awesome and the staff is nice. Like the free wifi and usb outlets on the walls. Also, the seperation of the bedroom and the "livingroom" is nice when not everyone goes to bed at the same time.

Older hotel, but worth the money!Posted Feb 18, 2015
This my 6th time staying here. The hotel is tad bit outdated, but the amenities are worth it. The 2 hours of free drinks for the evening reception and the cooked to order breakfast in the morning make it a great reason to return. The hotel staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and smell nice. The TVs are up to date LG flat screens. The location is awesome for everything. 15 minutes to downtown or 10 minutes to the zoo.

Reasonably priced choice for a weekend with kidsPosted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Price Open atrium design Size of suites Availability of evening beverages and hot breakfast Location
Cons: Increase staffing and supplies for projected busy weekend Pay attention to details that increase guests' satisfaction, like clean pool towels
Location: Many good restaurants available nearby Upscale shopping center close Easy access to Milwaukee freeways and downtown
Brookfield Suites is a visually appealing property, characterized by good ideas and intentions that fall short. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with dual thermostats that didn't always work. The temperature in the bedroom easily hovered around 85 while the heat in the sitting area didn't go on at all. Public areas are more polished; furnishings and appliances in the rooms are ready to be replaced. Beverages at the nightly Manager's Reception were poured freely, yet the bar area was understaffed and lines were long on a busy Saturday night. Pretzels, snack mix, and chips and salsa were replenished one evening; the next night nothing was filled and on the third night, only one bowl of pretzels and one bowl of snack mix was offered. The cooked to order breakfast was terrific on a quiet Monday morning, after weekend guests had departed; breakfast on Saturday morning was disastrous. Dirty dishes piled on tables, preventing guests from sitting in the atrium area. The line to the grill snaked through the lobby, with long waits for pancakes, French toast, or eggs. Buffet service stations for scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns were empty before mid-morning. Fresh fruit, juice, pastries, and yogurt had also been available for earlier diners but were gone by 9 AM. Overall, I'd stay here again but with much lower expectations of amenities provided.

Great StayPosted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Pool, Bar, Restaurant, room size.
Great Hotel! Very large, with lots to do. The pool was packed, but what do you expect in the middle of Feb, in Wisconsin. Other than that, great stay!

Convenient but really run downPosted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: convenient location
Cons: See experience above
Nice staff, OK food, but rooms need to be gutted and renewed. All furniture stained, broken, threadbare. Carpets and shower tiles stained and worn out. This hotel needs a complete overhaul!

Visit to see our first grandchildPosted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: It was a good value.
Cons: The bathroom sink drain was slow.
Location: This didn't really apply to us. Our main purpose was to spend time with our kids and their new baby.
The room was very spacious. The bed was comfy. It was nice to have breakfast included in the cost of the room.
