Will never stay here again

Posted Jun 24, 2014
The hotel staff is very unprofessional. There was no parking available, I had to park on the street. It's in a bad neighborhood and since my girlfriend and I were dressed up from a wedding, we were told that we're just fancy people not used to that kind of neighborhood. The hotel was filthy and stunk very bad. The AC did not work in the room. We were in a non smoking room and there were cigarette burns in the bedding. The room was very dusty. There were little kids running around at nearly midnight and there were also dogs barking in the hotel. Overall this is the worst hotel i have ever been in and will never stay at a Days Inn ever again because of it.

Close to Downtown, good breakfast

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: value perfect, gentle stuff, location of the hotel, breakfast
Cons: laundry only one machine is not really enough
Location: Lakefront Brewery and Pabst Brewery within 15 Min walk, Downtown within 15 min walk
Kind hotel staff, good breakfast buffet, quiet and clean room, very good located to go to the Downtown of Milwaukee, near to restaurants and breweries

stay away from this place

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Honestly, the place is a dump...too much to list.
Location: Do yourself a favor and drive a couple miles south and get out of that area.
This place is advertised as "downtown" Milwaukee. It is not. I stayed here for one night. Checked in at 10pm...bed sheets had yellow stains and pillow cases had old makeup stains. I go to bed around 10:30pm and am woken up at 2am because someone is trying to get into my room. Somehow this person was able to open my door and the only reason they weren't able to get in is because I had the top lock slid over. The person continued to try and get in even after I yelled 'hey!', so I slammed the door shut. The hotel lobby attendant was absolutely no help at all. I was told there was no way to check whether someone else was given access to my room because "no one else should have access to your room". I checked out right then and there. Awful hotel.

Easy access to local events, highways, shopping ..

Pros: It was very convenient to the Wisconsin Center. We were drawn to the hotel as it had a FREE breakfast every morning and was well attended to.
Cons: The parking lot is very small - not always places to park. The hotel rooms do not have a dresser (or drawers) in the room.Had to use suitcase instead.
Location: We were in town for the Bead Show but my husband enjoyed the Baymont Town Center Mall- just north of the hotel.
We found the hotel easily and were pleased with the hotel in general. We were very surprised that there was not a dresser, or any drawers, in the room. We had to use the shelf high above the rod in the closet (no door - open) for clothes as well as the lower shelf (almost like a bench seat in the closest) for our shorts, jeans etc. I used our suitcase for our underwear, socks etc. ALL hotel rooms have drawers in a dresser / bureau, don't they? This was the biggest disappointment in the hotel room. The parking lot lacks enough spaces for the hotel guests. At 8:30 pm on a Friday night, all of the spaces were taken. We had to ask the front desk person where we should park. It could be better lit as well. Overall, we were pleased with our six-day stay at this hotel.

Basic Hotel, would not recommend it

Posted May 17, 2014
Pros: But the bartender was so sweet and so was the shuttle driver
Cons: Basically everything!
Location: Just get a different hotel
The location of the hotel is not really the best and there were alot of people going in and out of the hotel who did not stay in the hotel but just lived around the neighborhood. It was uncomfortable because it just seemed like there was something out of the ordinary taking place there. The room was not very clean, the toilet was always overflowing, they never had enough towels in the room. I recommend you to just find another hotel, this was my first and my last days inn

Pros: Location to downtown
Cons: Parking lot small and always full. We had to park behind hotel on the street.
The front desk people were friendly and efficient. Bartender very personable. Rooms kind of small but clean. Bathroom seemed recently updated.
