OK experiencePosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: The room was generally clean. I appreciated the free shuttle to places within two miles. The breakwas was OK.
Cons: Having someone at the desk when you needed something would be appreciated. At least thee times no one was at the desk and I had to wait.
Location: The hotel was easy to find, but most activities were located further away. The shuttle was appreciated.
I would generally rate this hotel as "average." Unfortunately, it is not very close to major activities, but the hotel does provide a free shuttle for up to two miles, and they will take you other places for a cost. The breakfast was OK. When I needed something at the hotel, including time to check out, it took several minutes for someone to either appear at the desk, or they were too busy doing something else to provide the service requested. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Friendly staffPosted Feb 24, 2014
Our stay was ok. The staff was extremely friendly. If we needed anything, they would be more than happy to help us with a comforting smile on their face. The hotel could use some sprusing up. There were some scratches and dents on the walls and the hallways were a bit dirty. But, all in all. Our stay was just ok.

Pretty, but unpleasantPosted Feb 24, 2014
THE SHUTTLE SERVICE IS A JOKE. I REPEAT, DO NOT RELY ON THE SHUTTLE SERVICE. I stayed at this hotel around the same time last year, and had no luck with the shuttle service. This year I decided I would give it another try. I checked in around 4, and requested a shuttle at 6:30. When I came to the lobby no later than 6:25, I find out that the shuttle left early, and took 2 extra passengers who did not sign up for the service, basically taking our spots. A minute later another couple arrives who was also supposed to be on the shuttle, and they got left behind also. Then when we called to request the shuttle to pick us up and take us back to the hotel, we waited an hour before taking a cab. We called the hotel back inquiring where the shuttle was after 30 minutes, and they never called us back. How frustrating, if I wanted to pay for a cab I would have flagged one down right away instead of waiting an hour to do so.

Not worth the trouble.Posted Feb 10, 2014
First off, terrible part of town. I was lucky to have a parking spot in the lot. Got into the lobby to check in and several people were standing around. While talking with the front desk manager, these people were talking and progressively got louder, making it hard to hear. Several minutes had gone by and the room wasn't available, which the manager gave me a free upgrade, in the first floor. I dont any "upgrades" ever to be on that floor. Just munutes before finishing, a larger group of people had come out of the hotel bar into the lobby, creating more noise. The positioning of these people had become suspicious to my fiance, who had reached into my pocket and took the car keys. After finishing checking in (which took nearly 30 min) we just left and took the drive home. This hotel felt more of a drug/prostitution ground.

The staffs are good but the room was not cleaned. Also, I already paid the money for the room but they said that there was some problems in the price that the expedia was shown, so I paid extra charges.

Better than expectedPosted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: It was well maintained. Paticularly for the price.
Cons: More parking. The housekeeping staff, if they are going to eat the continental breakfast, should not be sitting around the guests.
Location: We were in town for a poetry marathon at Woodland Pattern Bookstore. It worked well for us.
At check in, the desk clerk was extremely helpful and friendly.

Avoid if possiblePosted Jan 19, 2014
Was looking for a place to avoid a snowstorm but the manager was very inhospitable. Just because I'm 22 does not disqualify me from being a paying customer who should be treated differently and disrespected. The breakfast was garbage and tasted like soap and myself and a friend were actually yelled at a few times by the manager for "noise" in the lobby when we were not even being loud. Pick a different hotel if you can.

Towel shortagePosted Jan 13, 2014
I reserved the room with 4 , we only had 2 shower towels when we called for more they did not have any so I had to dry off with a hands towel. Nice room for the price minus the towel issue.
