Nice comfortable hotel in Glendale.

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. Breakfast was more than expected.
Cons: A swimming pool, or at least a large hot tub would be nice.
Location: Glendale is a beautiful little suburb and the hotel was right off the freeway (43). There were a lot of shops, stores and places to eat nearby.
We spent 3 nights in Milwaukee and had a great time. This Days Inn was perfect for us. It was easy to get too all the places we needed to see - the lake, downtown, the Marquette U. campus, the church where the wedding we were attending was held, and the Milwaukee Historical Institute where the reception was held.

Comfortable for the Price

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Wallpaper was torn and dirt, candy, and a comb was left close to the bed from a previous guest The staff was pleasant. Breakfast was very good (waffles, omelets, cereals). Not bad for a reasonable price.

Nice and reasonably priced.

Pros: Location and price.
This hotel is nice and reasonably priced. I like the location. It's not off the beaten path. It's near UWM and Bayshore.

Suspicious Activity

Posted Aug 19, 2014
We were turned away. We had reserved a room a week-and-a-half before hand, yet when we arrived to check in we were told that they were full. The young man at the counter seemed conveniently ignorant to what was going on. He told us that he could give us a room key and we could go up to that room, but there "might be someone in it already" because that is what happened to the last person he gave a key too. The people who tried to check in ahead of us were turned away as well, despite having reserved a room. There was a lot of loitering and suspicious activity in the lobby and parking lot, which didn't seem to bother the staff.

Last minute stay

Posted Aug 11, 2014
I ordered a hotel room about a month before the date I would be in town. My plan was to stay in Milwaukee, but there was literally nothing available. I've stayed at Days Inn before and had no concerns about this trip. Unfortunately, the place was swarming with suspicious activity. I was constantly in and out. Everytime I would leave and enter there were multiple people hanging by the counter in pajamas and barefoot. At breakfast I didn't get any creamer because the person in front of me put every single creamer on his tray. The bathroom had lots of cracked tiles and was filthy. I bought my own sheets from across the street because the ones on the bed were stained and had dirt that I could physically remove on them. There was something going on with the air conditioning which caused the entire room to be damp. I wore flip flops the whole time. I usually find comfort in the staff at the front desk. However, the staff made me feel uncomfortable with their topics of conversation and attitude towards me. Won't be back ever.

Terrible Stay

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Guests next door got in a huge fight... screaming and throwing and breaking things. Tried to contact main desk, called and went down there and no one was around. Spoke to manager in the morning and he really did not offer any type of meaningful apology. Room smelled and floor was filthy.

Limited services but the price was right

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: There were quite a few restaurant and services close by, easy access to the highway.
Cons: Needs a complete refresh to come up to the standards of even a Days Inn
Last minute booking, while the services are limited the property was clean and well lit. Totally felt safe and a convenient location for my particular trip.

Decent Hotel, I Love the Area

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: I like the location, just off the expressway, coming from Chicago, plenty of parking Not a nosey hotel, not a lot of kids.
Cons: Maybe the rooms could be upgraded, they are clean, neat but the tv is an older model, no microwave no refrigerator
Location: Came for the WI Summer Fest, but there was also a mall never the hotel and places to eat in both directions from the hotel
This was my first time in the Glendale area, coming from Chicago it was easy to get to, plenty of parking. The hotel was ok for just the 2 nights, it was clean the bed was comfortable. My room with the double beds were clean but not an updated room, no refrig, no microwave, still had the big back tv. They offer free continental breakfast, but the room was small and they were not well stocked, at one point one of the guess had to go in the cabinet underneath to get cups for the coffee, althou the coffee with the flavored creams were good. The staff was pleasant but not friendly. I probably would go back to the Glendale area because their are things to do, just not sure if I will stay at Days Inn
