Central

Pros: room comfort
Cons: would like a firmer bed
Hotel was very central and close to the convention we were attending. It has good restaurants in the hotel as well as good restaurants within walking distance.

Cons: Internet connection issues.
Location: The location was great but parking was expensive for the night.
Overall the stay was a good experience with friendly and helpful staff. The only negative was that the internet was not working and it took 20 min. on the phone with hotel staff to alleviate the problem. They stated that too many people were on the network.

Nice Hotel Downtown

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Location is incredible. The room was lovely. The interior is gorgeous.
Cons: Why charge for internet? In the times we live that seems ridiculous. Also, the overnight parking should be re-evaluated. Or better communicated.
Location: The location is wonderful. It's four blocks from almost everything it seems.
This is a nice hotel downtown, but not exactly worth the price. There's a charge for internet, which is complimentary is most other (less costly) hotels. Also, they offer to add parking to the bill, which seems like a good idea, but the overnight charge at the ramp states $10, the hotel charges $25. That's quite ridiculous. The room was VERY nice and the interior of the building is gorgeous. The location is pretty much perfect for anything downtown.

Pros: Staff was so very friendly & helpful. They didn't explain how to get to where we wanted to go, they escorted us there. Parking garage is adjacent.
Cons: Bathroom was incredibly small. They need to have a quick place to have a healthy breakfast. (Not just Starbucks.)
Location: Sightseeing was close by. Miller Brewery Tour, Harley Davidson Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum, and Miller Park baseball were just a short drive away.
We were in Milwaukee for a long weekend and found the Hilton to be an excellent choice. The baggage handlers were very friendly and helpful. They also remembered us when we had a question later on during our stay. Parking rates were reasonable for a big city. It was great having access to your car. Safe area. Miller Time Bar was a great place to meet up with friends after the ball game.

The room was lovely, very clean, the staff was attentive. But that bed though!! Unbelievably soft and comfortable. We did not want to leave it to go do things in the city!!

Friendly and helpful staff

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable bed, proximity to Summerfest, good restaurants, etc.
Location: Summerfest, Summerfest shuttle, Riverwalk, Third Ward
I got to Milwaukee early to see a specific artist at Summerfest, so I wanted to get there early. They were super friendly and allowed me to check in early. I know this won't always happen, but I was super grateful for it. I also got great recommendations from another employee for places to eat and walk through the city where I'd never been before. The shuttle to Summerfest is right around the corner and it's actually walking distance if you don't mind walking a bit. I stay here for Summerfest almost every year and it never disappoints. I also ran into several of the artists which performed at Summerfest, which was kind of cool.

Nice hotel, but needs "mechanical" updates

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Very clean hotel and friendly staff. But old building means behind the scene mechanicals and plumbing needs some updates. Rooms don't get very cold and sinks/tubs not draining well.

Perfect

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Cons: We are staying at your hotel already, why do we have to pay to park a car?
Walking distance to lakefront, restaurants, and bars. You don't need a car at although guests do pay to park $24 a day.

Stayed for Summer fest and took the bus to the lakefront and back - very convenient. Short walk to the bus stop and back.
