Nice hotel and AMAZING location!

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Had a great stay at the Hilton. It also has a parking garage next to it so that you don't have to pay the $25 parking fee at the hotel. We also liked the Pub downstairs which is a little pricier for the drinks, but it balanced out not having to drive anywhere! Very nice and modern room too!

Not bad

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: location, price, workout room
Cons: space, cleanliness
Location: not much in Milwaukee
Decent value, room's a little small, and the drapes were pretty dirty. Otherwise, nice place, nice location, and has nice workout room with modern equipment

We appreciate your comments! We have a number of different floor plans; some rooms larger than others and we are always happy to find the perfect room for our guests!

Great downtown hotel

We were in town for a Brewers game and this hotel and location couldn't have been better. Also, it was very convenient to be within walking distance from great restaurants and bars. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and want to come back next year.

Okay, where's the water ?!

Posted Sep 8, 2014
So at 4 am I woke up dying of thirst and there was no bottles water in the room, not even one I could purchase . I called the front desk on search of water & they directed me to the vending machine on the 6th floor. Went to the 6th floor and paid $3 and the machine ate my money and did not give me anything! So my husband and I left the hotel and had to pay a taxi to take us to the nearest gas station to buy water .. This may seem silly but it's one of the simplest things to have in a room.. Otherwise the hotel was okay, good price. Room smelled musty but ehh I got over that quickly as we wouldn't be in there much anyway. The decor is old school but pretty great old character in the lobby.

Good location for walking downtown & attractions

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Everything worked. Breakfast was reasonable price and good choice available
Cons: Free wifi would be good. It seemed to be hit and miss whether you could log on for free or not
Location: Riverwalk and park good, children's museum excellent for under 5s. Good choice of Bars and restaurants
A very large and busy hotel, quite impersonal, but comfortable and good amenities. Good value for money compared to some city centre hotels, and convenient for parking.

Historic Hilton

Pros: Location was great- just blocks away from the Public Market, Third Ward and Lake Michigan. The Miller Time Pub had great food and great service.
Cons: Management. (See experience)
Location: The Public Market has a great selection for lunch. Miller Park is a beautiful ballpark and convenient to the city.
Upon arrival, I dropped luggage with the concierge due to a 3pm check-in time. Once I checked-in, it took the staff an HOUR to bring my luggage to the room. They lost it. Unfortunately, the delay caused me to miss my dinner plans. The room had two windows each with panels that were STAPLED TO THE VALANCE. Since I was unable to shut the curtains to drown out the exterior lights, I tossed and turned throughout the night. The room either had not been dusted in weeks or the vents required cleaning. The occupants in an adjoining room must have decided it was time to hang drywall at 11pm. When I called the 24-hour service, no one picked up the phone. I let it ring for at least 5 minutes. The shower curtain was bowed causing water to flood the bathroom floor. Get it together Hilton Staff/Management- there are plenty of competitors ready to take your business.
