Great hotel for those attending Bristol RenFaire

LOCATION: Drive time of 10-15 minutes (depending on lights) to get to the Bristol Renaissance Faire site. Having a large selection of food available from local restaurants within a few minutes drive by the mall is great. Also, a 24-hour huge grocery store 5 minutes away from the parking lot for getting those items you need that the hotel may not be able to provide, or if you are doing an extended stay. CLEANLINESS: The room was clean and the layout was great (1 Master Bed room). SERVICE: Also the staff were very friendly and very helpful in answering any questions I had about the room and area. SAFETY: Very safe area, actually being across the street from a hospital, but did not even think I was near there as the insulation from any sound in the room was good that I did not hear any exterior sounds at all.

I stayed 2 nights. I didn't have the breakfast, but it looked good. The dining area was nice. The room was comfortable and quiet. Wake up call was right on time. Bathroom well appointed with thick fluffy towels. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner maintained desired temperature.

Older property, but very nice staff. Location is convenient to much of Kenosha. Unless you want to be closer to downtown and the water, this is a good prospect.

Three night stay

We had difficulty sleeping due to the noise of the air conditioning unit and uncomfortable pillows. Housekeeping provided us with softer pillows the second night which greatly helped. Breakfast was the same every morning and lacked variety. The evening front desk clerk was unprofessional in his appearance and behavior. The pool was very nice.

Not particularly good on technical issues

Pros: Wonderful room, with a refrigerator, nice kitchen sink, bathroom, bed, couch and easy chair.
Cons: Well, they could be a bit more responsive when things like the phone, internet and cable don't work. Program out channels that do not work.
Location: There are some nice restaurants in the area and a shopping center nearby with a target, where you can buy a few groceries and such.
The hotel itself was very nice, with clean rooms and a nice pool and small gym. When we arrived late Thursday they had a sign up saying the phones were not working but it would be fixed by Thursday afternoon "at the latest". Well, it was already Thursday evening and they were not fixed until Friday morning. We go to the room and the cable on the TV did not work. Later we found that some channels did not work, however we had tried perhaps a dozen channels and none worked. To me if a channel on a TV is never expected to work, it is incumbent on the hotel to just have that channel be skipped when you use the remote, not have a channel that does not work be the default channel shown when the TV is turned on. The next day the internet went out for an extended period of time. Considering their policy (holiday in express) that if you are unhappy the room is free until the problem is fixed, you would think they would take these problems more seriously, but apparently even the hotel staff do not know about this policy which is on display in every room. The policy is not enforced, they do not give you a free room even if there are reported problems that are not fixed.

Nice, quiet hotel

Pros: Very clean, nice breakfast, very polite and helpful staff.
Cons: More seating outside.
Location: Located in Pleasant Prairie, WI next to St. Catherine's Hospital with shops and restaurants nearby; situated on a quiet street a few miles from town.
Reserved a room with two beds and a walk-in shower for my 90 y/o mother. Upon arrival was told that only a king size bed with a hide-a-bed was available. The man that was checking in next to me was alone and was given a room with two beds. He pointed this out to the two people behind the counter and after some confusion, they figured out how they could switch our rooms. Did not get the walk-in shower. I thought the room rate was very pricey.

Comfortable stay

Pros: I liked how the room had a little fridge along with a microwave and sink.
Cons: Be nice if the hotel had a bike rack.
Nice quiet location. Stayed at the hotel over the 4th of July weekend and hardly heard anyone about even though it was fully booked. The room was more spacious than I was expecting... for three adults we had a queen size bed with a sleeper sofa.

The staff was friendly, and everything was very clean. It neighbors Honada's - a very good sushi restaurant that I would recommend during your stay!
