“An island of comfort in a wasteland”

This hotel is located in a terrible area -- very awkward trying to enter the place, and there's nothing to do or see around you. With that said, I had a great stay. The room was clean, all advertised amenities were available, and the staff was very polite. I would return if I go back to Milwaukee.

“Bang for your Buck”

My boyfriend and I needed a place to crash for a reasonable price following my cousins wedding. I looked at the pictures of this one and thought it seems nice enough. It was exactly what I saw in the pictures, and better. Definitely a bang for you buck.

“Milwaukee Hyatt Place”

We were pleased with the comfort of the room. It was conveniently located within 10-15 minutes of every place we wanted to visit. The continental breakfast was good and there was an option to purchase a hot breakfast at a very reasonable price.

“Best Hotel in Milwaukee!”

We were treated so well. The breakfast was always excellent and clean. Very friendly but always giving privacy their priority. Enjoyed the workout room and the freedom to use the computer. Beds were more comfortable than we have at home. Hated to leave after a week stay.

Area recommendations

Good location, Hwy 45 usually took us wherever we wanted to go. Also, west of Silver Spring was right there.

Getting around

Easy access to visit family, which was the reason to bring us to Milwaukee.

“Nice hotel”

This hotel was very nice for what it cost, the only complaint I would have was the cost of the taxi ride because it was a little farther to Miller Park then we had been told.

“Not the Hyatt Place I'm Accustomed To”

While most Hyatt Places are almost identical, the room we stayed in at this one was a far cry from the others we have stayed in. It was smaller. The bed was positioned by the door, not, logically, by the window. The fixtures in the bathroom were sort of shabby. Further, the staff did not keep up with the breakfast area. Dishes were piled everywhere. They didn't refill coffee urns, etc. For what we paid, very disappointed...

Area recommendations

I'd very much recommend the historic third ward or downtown; all rooms were taken, though.

“Comfortable, friendly place to stay”

Clean, comfortable and stylish rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good bread, fruit and cereal selection at breakfast. More available for purchase, but I didn't choose that. Getting to the parking lot is slightly difficult, but returning to 45 is simple as it could be. Most of the parking lot is convenient to one of their doors, located on each side of the building. Good pool with pleantly of seating around it, but no hot tub. I would recommend this hotel and plan to return when I return to Milwaukee.

“Very Nice”

Lots of room, nice layout for family of 6. Very clean. Affordable. Very modern and comfortable room. Internet worked great. Only issues were the ice machine on our floor didn't work, getting in and out of the hotel was a little difficult (traffic, road patterns), and location wasn't in walking distance to anywhere. Issues would not keep us away. Would definitely stay at again.

“This is a great hotel”

The rooms are big and the beds are great. I travel with my own pillow and this hotel had pillows better then mine. Very good breakfast.
