Upon arrival we noticed the pool was closed. My grandson was disappointed and began to complain to his grandmother. The employee became rude and stated we did not have to stay here and can book elsewhere. Mind you it was 730 pm and neither adult was complaining to the employee. Our daughter was picking up our grandson in an hour anyways. We checked in again the employee remains rude and acted as we were an inconvenience as she had to leave the tables she was sitting at with what appeared to be possible family of hers. We entered our room and the carpets are very stained. The fridge does not work. We did not call the front desk as I did not want to deal with the rude employee. We settled in for the night. The beds are extremely uncomfortable as they sink in pretty bad. Definitely need to be replaced. The pillows are the size of airline pillows and are impossible to get comfortable with. Overall will not recommend anyone to book here!

Room was quiet and comfortable, except for the 'fan' that ran for 20 to 30 seconds every two or three minutes; 24/7.

Friendly and concerned hosts. Nice, clean, quiet room with good ame ities and a comfortable bed. There was no attempt to recycle anything at all.

I felt we WAY over paid ($306 w taxes per night) for a below average place. I expected to over pay during EAA Airshow but expected a nicer place. Thinnest towels ever. We did enjoy Brazenhead Pub though in downtown WB.

They spent the entire holiday weekend seal coating the parking lot. I needed an accessible parking stall but they were blocked off and the manager refused to allow me to park next to the entrance. I blame the owner & manager not the seal coat guys - they were doing what they were told to do. This owner/manager apparently doesn’t need our business.

There were two rooms near us that had barking dogs. The room fridge kept falling out of the dresser cubicle every time you tried to open it. The gentleman restocking the breakfast bar kept touching unwrapped food items with his bare hands to replenish stock. Only the sheets on the beds were being changed in vacated rooms. Comforters and duvets were not changed.

What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be! Clean, quiet, excellent customer service from manager, nice breakfast, nice pool - all at a substantially lower rate than other hotels in the city. Will be returning.

Ok but not we’ll maintained. Door to room did not latch well, toilet made a whistling noise after it filled for a while, bathroom door handle was loose. Paint work was not great and overlapping tile baseboards, etc. Staff was nice when available.

Good price for a “simple” stay with pool and hot tub, breakfast on the run. It’s rated 2-star hotel because it’s not “fancy” but adequate for us as we are in our 60s. Very friendly manager.
