“Very friendly staff”
Great deal for a nice hotel. The room service is surprisingly good and when we were bothered by street noise we were quickly moved to a quieter room. Great service.
“"A nine years old dream Hotel"”
The hotel was very nice and comfortable. My family and I found the pool in the middle of the hotel and in the open made any type of noise even louder. The open concept floor plan made any noise even louder and it created an echoing effect. It was especially bad in the late hours or early morning when people were in the common area. Like when they are outside the room door the sound of any kind was booming. Having one's sleep disturbed at 6:00 and many times from other patrons yelling at kids and just plain standing outside one's door talking on the phone made it not very pleasant to enjoy the comfort of sleeping in such a nice place. Aside from that my family's stay here was very nice and my kids loved the place. My nine year old say "it is the best, better than Days Inn, I love it here".
“Could be Better”
We had a one night stay and found several things that could be better. Shower rod was loose on the wall and sagged down. Stains on the carpet and the room's door didn't securely shut. Location close to the highway and very easy to find.
“Reliable stopover hotel”
My husband and I only needed to be in Milwaukee for one night and the room we booked at the Radisson was centrally located, clean, and for the most part comfortable. The bed was a bit of a problem - they use those electric number controls and one can "pump" it up or "pump" it down to varying degrees of softness or hardness. One side seemed to be broken and was either too hard or too soft. It then stopped working all together and collapsed into an airless pit. The hotel wasn't heavily booked and I'm sure they would have given us another room but it was really late, so we didn't bother. While the Radisson sticks with having those crazy beds, I doubt I will be going back. The other problem was that the room smelt of heavy duty chemicals, as did the lobby. It was very over heated.
“Run Down Dirty Dump”
Peeling paint in Bathroom, rusty shower head, broken tiles, bottom of tub was peeling off, caulk around tub was dirty. Disgusting pool and spa area. Fire alarm went off three different nights in the middle of the night. Dated smelly rooms. VERY POOR CONDITION AND DIRTY Will not recommend to anyone we where very disappointed and will never stay there again.
“A Nice Stay”
The Radisson Milwaukee North Shore was a nice hotel with a great staff. Everyone I talked to was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant/ room service was excellent and their staff was too! I had a minor issue with my room, but upon check out I was partially compensated, even though I had not asked to be. Overall I thought it was a nice place to stay at and would go again.
“Best choice in the area for the money.”
The hotel is gradually being renovated, but they are improving the accomodations and I have seen progress each time I have stayed over the past year. The staff is cooperative in entertaining special requests like providing a small refrigerator in the room, changing my room to a poolside room and, on one stay, allowing me to upgrade for part of my stay to a suite for less than the going rate would have cost me. I don't particularly care for the sleep number beds, as they seem lumpy and difficult to adjust to a comfortable degree of support. The food in the restaurant is quite good and the eggs Benedict at breakfast is the best I've had in a long time. I like the location, convenient to a shopping center with several good restaurants, and close to the freeway allowing for easy access to other parts of town, but away from all the hubbub of the downtown area. The hotel seems to be a popular spot for weddings, family reunions and daytime business meetings, making it quite a busy place, especially on weekends, so early booking of a room is recommended. All in all, a comfortable, but not overly fancy, place to stay, if you can overlook the ongoing renovation work and the look of the yet to be remodeled areas. I look forward to my next stay.
“Good service and quality.”
Airport shuttle service was a plus. For a small hotel it had almost everything I expected. The room was comfortable and clean. The facilities were well maintained. The sundries shop was very small and sparse, and no newspapers.
“Solid accomodations for a weekend visit”
This hotel offers solid accomodations for a weekend visit to the Milwaukee area. Zambonie's Bar & Grill offers meals at reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet with the usual morning meal items offered daily that will not break the bank. This is the first hotel of any rating that I have stayed at which has offered Sleep Number king size beds. This allowed me to set the bed for my preference and a different setting for my wife. The bath/shower offered plenty of space and the shower provided strong water flow through the spotless nozzles. The Business Center is open to hotel guests by using a room key card. The parking lot was well lit and was able to park near the door closest to the room. The only unfavorable comment I can make is regarding the uncomfortable chair and ottoman provided in the room.
“Quiet and convenient”
I greatly appreciate the ease of check-in. The hotel clerk was friendly and efficient. Because I had booked through Expedia I was given the choice of either giving my credit card information for any restaurant/additional hotel services or paying for such services at the time of use with cash. I chose the latter. I was given the room key and didn't have to fill out any paperwork. Yeah! I am a fan of this quick and easy check-in process! Hotel was quiet and in a convenient location for our visit to UW-Milwaukee. If my daughter choses to attend school in Milwaukee I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
