“Racine's Beat Place to Stay”
Excellent comfort and views of the Marina. The food at the Chancellry is very good. Enjoy the peaceful serenity of the harbor.
“Beautiful views of Lake Michigan”
We stayed at the Harbourwalk on a recent trip to Racine for a friend's wedding. When we arrived, the front desk was nice enough to let us check in a few hours early. Sadly, the room seemed a bit damp when we first arrived. I'm guessing it's humidity due to the close proximity to the water, or the constantly running air conditioner unit which seemed a few years old. Really, it was no big deal at all, just didn't make the best first impression. Other than that, I have no complaints. The bed was huge, and comfy. The staff was warm, welcoming and always helpful. The indoor pool and spa area was on the small side, but well maintained and I almost always had it to myself when I was there. If you care about such things, it's very much worth the minimal extra charge for a Marina view. Otherwise, you'll be looking at a parking garage. Which reminds me, I do have one more complaint: the parking. $1.50 to park, "free to exit." Not a deal breaker, but with the money you spend on your hotel stay it would be nice if they could provide free parking for guests. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and because I had other friends in town for the same wedding, I got a view of most of the other hotels in Racine and I can tell you the Radisson is by far the best!
“Nice stay on the waterfront.”
Nice hotel. Covered parking just across the street. Right on the harbor. Pleasant walks around the boats and to the park. Really good restaurant.
“Worst breakfast ever.”
This hotel is over priced, although situated in a marina with a beautiful panorama of Lake Michigan. The marina contained a collection of boats ranging from small runabouts, to 30-foot sailing vessels, to ocean-sized yachts. Plenty of space to stroll the dock area and within close walking distance to a children's playground and open park space at lakes edge. Parking is in a municipal ramp across the street from the hotel, making it difficult to access the vehicle during the rainstorm that passed the area during our stay. The one strong negative was the breakfast offered with the room. Without a doubt the worst we've encountered during our many hotel stays. Nearly inedible, we drove to another restaurant on our way out of town.
“Great place to stay in downtown Racine”
Very nice hotel right next to downtown and the harbor. Clean, light, fresh, and good helpful people. Allowed an early check in. Newsparer provided. Room wiht a view.
“Great location. Professional staff. Needs a good cleaning.”
Other guests had their own radio in the pool playing loud rap music. Carpet in room was stained. Chair in room was dirty. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
“Would not recommend”
The hotel was very hard to get to from the directions I printed due to construction. When I finally arrived, I was put in a first floor hotel room with a harbour view. Unfortunately, my view of the harbour was distracted by the homeless and/or strange men walking past my window. Further, my hotel room was old and I was not pleased with how close the toilet was to the shower. I was also disappointed that the only place to park at this hotel was in a parking garage that cost $1.50 every time you entered. The front desk clerk said that the parking garage was property of the city; however, there were signs at the lot advertising it as parking for the Radisson. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
“Fine but old”
The room was clean and very comfortable but you could tell it had a lot miles on it.
“NOT impressed”
Nice location. Parking an issue if you go in and out frequently.
“nice view”
hotel had a great view on the water!
