Nada on the Ramada

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Dirty, old and run down, out-dated. lazy staff, A/C was awful and noisy, over priced! Ramada took advantage of the Northwestern Mutual conference and overcharged.

Good location

Posted Jul 20, 2015
AC didn't work. Wouldn't give us a different room. Hot 90 degrees. Mattress sucked too. Staff was sarcastic. Said we'd have to "die then" when I commented how hot the room was!

Shabby!

Posted Jul 19, 2015
The rooms are shabby, bathroom had mildew, could not get the wi-fi to work, tried to order lunch from the restaraunt but they closed an hour early, no ice on the first floor, had to go up to the 3rd. When I brought these issues to the Manager, he told me he would tell Management! Lol!!! I ended up using the wi-fi from the Hilton across the street, got lunch at the Hilton as well. Should've just stayed at the Hilton.

Milwaukee Hotel close to downtown

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Close to downtown, free parking, outdoor pool.
Cons: The room was a little musty and it was a bit loud at night with sirens, but that is part of being in an urban, downtown setting.
Location: Downtown shops, Riverwalk, Miller Park, Marquette University.
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to downtown and Miller Park. It was easy to get in and out of and close to the freeway. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the outdoor pool.

Downtown, close to highway and Summerfest

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Elevators are relatively quick, great location, in-room coffee makers work
Cons: Renovate the bathrooms
Location: Downtown, walking distance to the Third Ward, right off the interstate
Right off the interstate in downtown Milwaukee, it couldn't be more convenient. The hotel needs renovating (the bathrooms seriously need re-tiling and painting) but it's still clean and comfortable. The coffee makers in the room are excellent, the toiletries are nice, and the bed isn't too bad. If you're looking for a relatively safe place to stay with free parking in downtown Milwaukee this is exactly the place to be.

Friendly hotel in downtown Milwaukee

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed the location of this hotel and the convenience of it.
Cons: The fee for the refrigerator could have been posted online so that it wasn't a surprise when checking in.
Location: The Uptowner bar is the oldest tavern in Wisconsin and super friendly. The owner and bartender were awesome and the locals made you feel welcome.
This motel was very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and the accommodations were great. The only disappointment was that you had to pay extra for a refrigerator.

Close to Summerfest

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Clean, quiet, convenient location.
Cons: Parking was a bit tight but is ended up okay.
Location: Close to Summerfest and all the ethnic festivals.
We stayed here so we could attend Summerfest and take the downtown shuttle. Had to only walk 1 block so it was very convenient. Surprisingly quiet hotel. Would stay here again.

Staff so so and location fair.

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Near downtown.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated. Food available in some form 24 hrs.
Location: Near Summerfest grounds.
Staff at check-in definitely not engaged in job. Room clean, slight odor, but needs to be updated. Nice breakfast in morning. Need snacks or light food available during off-dining hours.

Nice Location, Little Else

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Amenities, decor.
Location: Walking (albeit, long) distance to Summerfest.
Elevators did not work, TV did not work, Wi-Fi did not work. Hotel room was fairly clean but the whole place was terribly out-dated. For the cost ($180/night) I would expect a little more. I imagine you are paying mostly for the location which is in walking distance to pretty much anything downtown.
