A Wonderful Surprise in MilwaukeePosted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and the furnishings were unique. It really had a Victorian feel to it.
Location: The neighborhood was somewhat of a challenge since there was not a lot of things to do within walking distance.
Because a lot of the downtown hotels were full we opted to try this unique B&B just west of downtown in an older neighborhood. It was like staying in a Victorian museum with beautifully decorated rooms, parlors, and dining room. And it did not feel cluttered at all but yet had all sorts of nice, little touches that made you want to just keep looking at all the details. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly, and even provided transportation (we did not have a car) at a very reasonable charge. Needless to say the breakfasts were delicious with many snack items also available. When we find ourselves in Milwaukee again we are definitely staying there again and recommending it to all our friends.

What a gem.Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.
Location: Not that CLOSE to Lambeau, but as we all know, that's worth any distance you have to drive.
For B&Bers, quite the find starting with the welcoming kitty, and including the knowledgeable hosts, beautiful accommodations, good company and breakfast.

close to Miller parkPosted Sep 11, 2014
We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful house. We came for a Brewers game and took the Shuster shuttle to and from the game. Rick and Laura Sue are wonderful hosts.

Milwaukee getawayPosted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
I chose the Schuster Mansion Bed and Breakfast as I wanted to stay someplace close to Miller Park. I loved the pictures that were posted, but believe me they do not do justice to the elegance and charm of this place. Our stay was fantastic. The service we received was top notch. They took us to and picked us up from the ballpark for a nominal charge. The breakfasts were superb. You take a step back into time walking through the mansion. Rick and Laura have done an excellent job renovating the mansion back into a place Milwaukee can be proud of.

Victorian elegance experienced with modern comfortPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Just about everything, from the decor to experiencing stepping into the Victorian era for a weekend. The owners were very charismatic.
Cons: I would have liked an egg and toast simple option on breakfast, but I understand B & Bs make fancy meals to please more customers.
Location: The Milwaukee Art Museum is one of the finest in the country, Water Street Brewery has fabulous chips and beer, vintage shops line Kinnickinneck Ave.
My daughter and I stayed for a weekend in the Prairie Sky room, located in a turret on the third floor of the mansion. The ceiling fan and window breezes made air-conditioning completely unnecessary in this lovely room. We felt like royalty and were treated that way by the wonderful couple that run the mansion. The breakfasts were exquisite and delicious, fit for a king! Next time we would like to experience their High Tea, which they do on Saturday afternoons. We had a wedding to attend at that time so we missed it, but with the attention to detail that they gave everything else, we know it would be fabulous.

Great place, wonderful hosts!Posted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
The minute we walked in, we felt welcomed. Laura Sue started off by joking with us, making us feel like old friends. The mansion was wonderful. We stayed in the newly remodeled Mollies suite. Beautiful! Breakfast was delicious. Look forward to staying again.

The Schuster Mansion is such a great place to stay. I loved the old feel of the place and the owners take very good care of it. They are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome. I am recommending it to my friends and family and would definitely love to stay again! We had the Pias Sweet and it was so cute. I loved how it was decorated. Breakfast was amazing and make sure to try their cookies!!!

B&B at its bestPosted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a lovingly restored and maintained Victorian mansion. The hosts are charming and have created a beautiful place to relax and stay. The breakfast was excellent and all food issues were unhesitatingly accommodated. The neighborhood well established houses and in the process of being refurbished. Make a point to stay here when in the Milwaukee area.
