Great hotel near the beach. Ocean view room was nice but don't think I'll get it again due to the fact its 3 stories up with no elevator.

Nice location, in reasonably good condition. No shampoo provided. Room power including AC goes off when you leave the room and take the key. Would not be a big deal, except it gets very hot and stuffy in the room while you're gone, and it takes at least 20-30 minutes for the room to cool down once you return. Also, no in-room safe.

There are better options
Relatively newly remodeled hotel but you can tell already that maintenance is not a huge priority for them. Lack of a safe in the room was a definite minus. Very poor wifi coverage which even in the common area was extremely slow.

Enjoyed this hotel with the pool. My only complaint is the WiFi signal is very weak in the room. Until this is fixed I won't be staying here again.

Ok Hotel
Family run hotel. Every one except the lady @ the computer @ the check in counter is friendly. The manager was awesome making sure everything was good. No Foxnews! No wifi in the rooms. Need more routers. Room is clean with good aircon and water pressure.Nice big pool. Breakfast isn't all that great. Price is a bit high but I'll stay here again.

Nice apartment, everything provided, nice pool usually empty. If you want water sports and sand beach, rent motorbike and go WhiteBeach nearby.

Nice Hotel close to the beach
When I first checked in the hotel the room was very hot with the AC running. Staff said there was a problem with the electricity. The first 2 days the generator below the standard room was constantly running. By the third day the electricity was back to normal with the generator shut off. The room was nice and cool with the AC on full blast. The hotel has a big nice pool. Scared me when I was walking back to hotel room from the pool to get a cold beer seeing a snake on the side walk. The staff said not worry cause the head was chopped off. Like a chicken head chopped off but still moving. Apparently the snake fell from a mango tree. Prices at the hotel store are high. A san mig lt will cost you P62 compared to P40 at the grocery store near the bars.

I booked a room for 2 and paid extra for another person so that's 3 adults in total using Hotels.com and in their record they are telling me that I booked through Expedia. When I checked into the hotel, they told me that they are strictly only 2 person per room policy and I could not get my refund for the extra person that I already paid for in advance.

We are sorry for the error as we missed your amendment when you re-booked your original reservation in which you added an extra person, we will contact hotels.com and inform them to refund your payment for the 3rd person. However, we would like to clarify though that you informed us that the third person you booked did not make the trip so only 2 person will occupy the room and you would like a refund for the paid extra person. Normally, amendment request on date of arrival is subject to hotel policy and discretion and/or you may also contact hotels.com for requests.. Again we are sorry for the trouble this has caused you.

No Wifi in Rooms and very noisy place
Much construction, noise, dirty pool, practicing divers in scuba gear allowed in pool, low quality breakfast and terrible pizza with really bad bread like crust. Housekeeping very poor cleaning. Nice manager and very helpful staff and low price do make it a possible option and they are very busy so it is not all bad. You get what you pay for

Wifi or internet connection has always been a concern to most businesses in Puerto Galera, as we continue to search for a better internet service provider, we publicly announced or advertised that wifi will only be available in public areas of our resort and not in our rooms. Construction in our place is now finish, likewise we announced that we have ongoing renovation in our website since the construction inaugurated. The place is under construction and they will put you in a room close to it if you book online. Dont do it. They moved me to a new room but it was not what I payed for. Ended up paying for deluxe and got standard room.

OK connected room across from pool. Downside: No chair in room, or even a light by the bed to read! Nice pool, family oriented hotel with children. Really not a beach, but a tidal flat. Access to some great diving. The bungalows in the back of the property are well worth a try, much more room. Maybe a chair and lamp???

Hotel close to Pier not a Beach
Location is difficult to drive to, and Sabang is more of a Pier and not a Beach. Also Sabang seems to be the red light district of Puerto Galera, not a family vacation spot. For families, White Beach is likely more suitable, and couples looking for romantic spot Coco Beach seems much more appropriate. Sabang is very noisy, but the location does have its conveniences- close to Pier for boat to take you island hopping, plenty of dive shops, restaurants, groceries, shops all within walking distance. Hotel staff are nice, but rooms are just adequate.

Very misleading if you book for "beach" activities. Sabang is a divers paradise but you need White Beach for fun in the sand.

Seashore Beach Resort, Puerto Galera.
The rooms were clean & comfortable. The hotel was situated in the hustle & bustle of Puerto Galera. Be aware that a ground floor room may be better if you struggle with stairs. Noise can be an issue due to inadequate sound proofing especially within the hotel. Cleaning of rooms started at 8am each morning & we could clearly hear the furniture being moved around the rooms, slamming of doors, people talking. However, a pair of earplugs reduced the impact of the noise. Very reasonably priced!

As always, we had a nice stay, despite the relative quiet of Sabang versus White Beach. The personnel are always helpful and smiling.

That seashore view though...
Just like it says, it's on the shore. I couldn't have asked for a better view. Like anywhere in the country, don't forget your bug spray. They had a barbecue stand right in the front of the hotel waiting for you to come by and eat. They can charge to your room if you can't pay right then and there. The food is delicious. The bars and such are a walk away, about five minute walk. The hotel will gladly hook you up with trips to go snorkeling or whatever it is you want to do. They're great at customer service. If you're planning on bringing anybody back for the night, they require you sign them in with proper ID so don't feel embarrassed when they stop you. They also did laundry for fairly cheap. The room wasn't five star worthy but it was comfortable and I was able to sleep the whole night through. That's all that really matters. The pool isn't 24 hours unfortunately, but it's really nice to swim and look at when it is open. Overall, my stay was great at this place. I would definitely come back again.

Three Days at Seashore
Beach near the hotel not ideal for swimming. Had to rent a boat to reach another location if you want to go swimming or snorkeling. Restaurant closes at 8:00 PM, opens at 7:00 AM so has to go somewhere else for midnight snack or meal. Swimming pool is clean. Staff members are friendly.

Pleasant Stay
I have had three stays at Seashore Resort and have enjoyed them all. The hotel is well located being right at the sea front and has a nice outlook over Sabang Bay. The hotel has recently constructed a swimming pool and some new rooms. The staff are very helpful, friendly and recognise me from the number of times I have stayed there. Although reasonably basic compared to higher priced hotels, the hotel represents very good value for the money.

The constant construction made this place a big muddy mess. The restaurant was expensive and the only place there was wifi which was slow and they charged an 8% surcharge for using credit cards, higher than anywhere else I found in tthis city.

Quiet and Relaxing
This was my second time at this resort. I like it because it is away from the nightlife, small, and quiet. Also, the personnel are all very nice and easy to work with. On the downside, Sabang Beach does not have as much to offer as White Beach.

Very Pleasant Stay
Loved the hotel. The personnel were friendly and the facility was well-maintained. It was close to the clubs and bars, but far enough away so that it was quiet and peaceful. (Except for the roosters that seem to be ubiquitous in rural Asia.) My only complaint was that the small air conditioners were only in the bedrooms of the three-roomed unit that we had, so I sweated even when they were on. But that is more an issue with me being from a northern climate and not used to the tropics. This was a romantic trip and my girlfriend and I will return. Loved the place.

Mosquitoes in an AC-less room! The ceiling fan was no match to the ferocity of the mosquitoes' hunger. Food was yuck! I missed my boat ride back to the main land because the person responsible for waking me up fell asleep. Open sewage flowed into the beach. Total turn off!

decent hotel for the price
Me and the boyfriend stayed in Sabang for a weekend diving trip. Hotel was beachfront, but we stayed in a room that wasn't quite on the beach. Room was pretty big, and furnished ok. The girls that handle reception were nice and spoke decent English. The restaurant in front had pretty good food, though they seem to close pretty early (we wanted to have dinner there once because it was raining and we didn't want to walk all the way out to the other side of the beach, but it was already closed). The neighborhood is typical, I guess, with plenty of young girls walking around with old white guys.

good budget hotel
Cheap and cheerful I stayed in the standard room and was quite happy with what I got. Very large room with fridge, kitchen area, cooking utensils, a very comfortable double bed and cable TV. The room is somewhat old and the decor/furniture looks a bit rough round the edges but it is clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly too.its right on the beach front although there isn't much of a beach at high tide but its very close to all the local dive shops.
