Didn't seem worth the money.

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: clean and no bedbugs
Cons: amenities not commensurate with room rate. Security not good at night.
Location: NOTHING
Minus some wet areas on the carpet, there was nothing technically wrong with the room. The bathroom seemed clean, the comforter on the bed was the washable kind, etc. However, there was no microwave, mini-fridge, nor free even continental breakfast. I inquired at the desk about the fridge, because I thought the description said the rooms had them. She said that they could bring one in if we wanted one. I had them do that, but it takes a while for them to actually get cold. Then I asked if there was an ice bucket at least. She said it's in the bathroom "underneath by the sink." The only thing there was the bathroom garbage can! eeewww. So, considering this is not in an awesome location and the amenities were not great, I feel the room rate is too high. Also, my husband wasn't arriving until the next morning, so I asked how security worked at night- did he need a card to get in at night, if so, would someone be on shift to let him in, etc. She said just to tell him the room number and he can walk right in and knock on the door. While this was convenient for us, what about security overall? That means anyone can randomly walk in off the street at night.

Convenient to 35W, 280, and all NE Neighborhoods

Pros: I enjoyed the exercise room which has semi recumbent bikes, treadmills and free weights. The pool looked very nice, though I didn't use it.
Cons: I don't have a refrigerator in my standard room, and the only microwave I saw was in the lobby. I'll ask for a frig next time.
I went back to Minneapolis for my high school reunion in NE Minneapolis. The Rqmada was extremely convenient for those events and for getting to other attractions because of its closeness to the freeway. The building is solid enough that you don't hear the freeway much, and except for some rowdy guests, the hotel was quiet. I did have problems with my room keys which woul work sometimes and not others. I ended up going back down to the desk several times for new keys. There was also a mix-up between the hotel and online booking site I used, and I don't know who was responsible for that. However, the online agency called the hotel for me and it was straightened out. I would definitely stay here again, especially if the hotel is kept up to its present standards.

Convenient location

Although not in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, the hotel was a short drive there. The accommodations were good & I'd stay again.

Overall, very nice hotel!

The room was great with great view of the center garden! The main foyer was wonderful to sit and have a cup of coffee, read or watch tv if you didn't want to be in your room (my husband is an early riser!). The only part we didn't like was the very cold pool. Other than that, a lovely experience! Thank you!

Hotel is nice we weren't there alot just to sleep. We had to pay for a shuttle to the concert we were up there to see. We thought that could have been complimentary. The website said free shuttle service.

Pros: The friendliness of staff and the over all chill vibe.
Cons: bigger bathrooms
Location: mall of america is about a 20 min drive, there was also an outlet mall near mall of america that had good sales. There is a gas station and wendys.
Staff were very helpful and great at customer service. The rooms were very sound proof, so we were never disturbed by any noise. The restaurant was great. The beds were really comfy. Was easy to get to mall of america via the freeways and was awesome to have shuttle bus too and from the stones concert.

Close for doing graduation @ the U of MN.

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: On Sat night guests in room 711 needed to be removed from the hotel. That kind of behavior is unacceptable in any public location.
When we don't stay downtown Minneapolis is have been a go to place for the last 4 yrs. to visit mu Son at the U of MN. Building is getting a little tired but things are clean a comfortable. Booked 2 room for 3 nights to enjoy graduation.
