“Great Lodging in Great Part of the City”
Midtown Minneapolis is an urban area in transformation. Diverse culture, historic buildings and neighborhoods are in renewal. Just a couple blocks from the heart of the medical district of the city. The hotel is at the heart of the development. Bus service out front, adjacent to the Global Market and redeveloped former DSears building. The Sheraton has done a nice job of providing lodging that fits the neighborhood.
“Good, convenient place to stay”
Hotel staff were very helpful. I was impressed with the level of service and the hotel amenities.
“Great hotel, great price, lackluster surrounding area”
This hotel is excellent, friendly staff, clean spaces, and very comfortable rooms and beds. The fitness center is well kept and equipped, and the pool was small, but refreshing. The only downside was the area - it is outside the center of the city and the surrounding area has no restaurants or tourist attractions. However, city center is a $10 cab ride away, just about 20 blocks to the north. Would recommend this hotel, especially for its price.
“Interesting location”
Double room was spacious and comfortable. Wired internet connection was appreciated. Staff was courteous and helpful.
“Vikings Game Visit”
Awesome customer service!!
“An enjoyable stay with friendly staff.”
I was very impressed with this hotel and its staff. I would definitely be back. The rooms were clean. The internet service was responsive. The shuttle to my convention was dependable. Only wish is that they would work with other hotels to establish a shuttle to the airport.
“A real surprise in midtown Minneapolis!”
Not wanting to pay premium prices for a downtown hotel on a leisure visit, we stumbled upon this gem in a largely residential/shopping area in south Minneapolis (for those of you who know Mpls, it's where Sears used to be). The hotel is beautiful, the staff is gracious, and they really go the extra mile because they are not located in an area with lots of other hotels. Bonus: the Minneapolis Global Market shares the parking lot, and there are lots of wonderful ethnic restaurants in the (safe) neighborhood. Conveniently located and reasonably priced -- especially on weekends. We will stay there again and again!
“Nice choice”
Location was perfect for my bussiness assignment which was at "Allina Common",,, within walking distance. Staff were very helpful. Hotel shuttle was a very good option to go around. You can even use it to go to train station so you can use the train to go to other areas.
“Friendly hotel”
-staff was all very friendly and helpful -ate breakfast and lunch at hotel and would recommend -carpet was pretty dirty in some of the hallways and common areas -spacious and clean rooms
