Nice and cleanPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: I like that there is food available (obviously the price is high) at all times. We got back from an event and it was easy to grab a salad and sa
Cons: I wish there was a better parking option. We weren't able to enter the ramp at one point and had to kill time before we could park again.
I have stayed at this hotel 3 separate times. Each time has been very consistent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We've always stayed in the room with 1 king sized bed. The staff are always pleasant except when I checked in this time. The lady checking me in wasn't very personable and hardly said a word to me which was odd but not the norm.

Really, really nice place...Posted Apr 14, 2015
I'm traveling a lot and I wish all the hotels in this price range were like Aloft. Modern design, helpful young staff (smiling not grumpy) , Very, very clean ( The manager, himself is checking every morning the Gym, the pool, and probably everything!!! ), comfortable room AND BED!!! Sushi across the street, Two Thai restaurants next block and a small food store (also nice) on the same street. Open Book Center next block. Just perfect!!!

LOVE this place!Posted Apr 14, 2015
Loved the atmosphere! Clean and fun. Great food. Hotel staff was so helpful. The shuttles took me everywhere I needed to go... I don't ever want to stay at another hotel besides aloft!!

aloft hotelPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: indoor, inexpensive parking right across the street.
Cons: The decor was nice enough, but things looked a little worn.
Location: close to Nicolet neighborhood. across street from park.
a bit drab, but a friendly and efficient staff. Good drinks in an uncozy setting. Lighting in the room was not ideal (there was no way to leave the bathroom light on, for instance as a night light, without flooding the whole bedroom with light). Clean room, clean bath, comfortable beds, good linens, ample business center.

Nice motel for little cost and easy to get to!Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: The price...was able to score a two-queen room for under $100!
Cons: Nothing! It was great!
Location: This motel was located right next to a parking lot which was only $7 to park for 12 hours.
Friendly staff, unique lobby area and room was very cozy and roomy.

Night stay at the AloftPosted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: What they have to offer.
Cons: Not have the time to enjoy much of anything.
Location: Did not get a chance to get around, I do know if you need to go to a football game next year, you will be two blocks away from the stadium.
We only spent one night and did not have the time to enjoy all that the hotel had to offer. We liked the overall layout and the items available around the clock. Next time when we have more time I will take advantage of what is available.

Tries to be too coolPosted Mar 2, 2015
Cons: No parking
Ok but ultimately vanilla, no ice machines on floor sucks. Housekeeping slow and absent minded. Staff too cool with each other overlooking guests.

Weekend vacationPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The floor in the elevators was cool, that's about it.
Cons: I'd suggest bulldozing the entire thing down and starting over with a different hotel.
Location: Close to the Guthrie.
The bed was uncomfortable, the lights in the rooms all turn on at the same time-- so if you try to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the lights in the entire room have to be turned on-- pillows were uncomfortable, hallways were dirty, bathroom "sliding door" did not shut all the way-- providing zero privacy for the person using the toilet. Rooms were small and over priced. Lobby was dirty and loud, staff was unprofessionally dressed. Absolutely the worst hotel we have ever stayed at downtown Minneapolis. We checked out an entire day early and booked a different hotel. Will never stay here again, would not even recommend to an enemy.

Great downtown hotel near the actionPosted Feb 17, 2015
We did a Valentines Day stay for one night at Aloft and found it to be a pleasing experience. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating, and we used the shuttle service to get to our theater engagement in the evening. Yes, the lights in the rooms are annoyingly all on or all off, it seems, but this was a small detail compared to the overall ambiance of this euro-type hotel in the middle of the historic mill district of Minneapolis. I would stay there again....
