“Great but ok”

Was a good hotel, but breakfast could have been better with real forks and knives. It was hard eating waffles with plastic forks and knives. And eating on paper plates was not easy either.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. Exceptionally nice pool and hot tub. Travelers should be aware that it is in a (nice) residential neighborhood. No restaurants or stores within walking distance.

While not your top-tier, 5-star luxury hotel, this certainly fits the bill for the in-and-out business type. Staff was very nice, and everything was exactly as expected.

“Clean room at a fair price”

A good clean room at a fair price. It's not the most glamorous hotel, but it's very comfortable and the room itself is pretty big. I will definetely stay there again when I am away on business.

“Clean, Convenient, Great Value”

This was our first AmericInn visit, but after our stay, we'll be back. We had read the reviews on-line for this hotel and frankly, we were skeptical, but we needed a hotel room on short notice and didn't want to spend a lot just for a bed near The Mall. Glad we took the chance. The front desk staff were very hospitable and gave us some great insider tips for our visit to The Mall of America. We had planned to stay only one night at this hotel, and to try to find another room elsewhere, but booked a second night, based on our first night's experience. The rooms were very quiet, and the other guests (during the week) were families and airline personnel. True, the hotel was a little worn around the edges, but it was clean, and everything (including free WiFi) worked. We didn't eat breakfast there, so no comments on that, other than continental breakfast at chain hotels is pretty much the same wherever you stay: it's not going to be what you eat at home, so as long as there's fresh coffee (and there was) it doesn't really matter what's downstairs in the morning. The only thing I would change is to make clear on the hotel website which exit off of 494 to take to get to the hotel--we had to do a little driving around to find the hotel, even though we knew it was close to the Mall. This was a good central location for exploring the Twin Cities.

“Nice Base for Visiting Mall Of America.”

AmericInn is one of the many hotels within easy driving distance of Mall of America. We have stayed here before on our annual spring break trip to Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. They have queen size beds, while many of the nearby hotesl have only fill size. The mini fridge is a new additon since the last time we were there. Breakfast was updated since we were there a couple of years ago. The waffles have always been very good, and they have added hash browns and eggs. Not gourmet quality eggs and hash browns, but still a nice addition. My daughter and I enjoyed to swimming pool, which is a above average size size and was not very crowded. There is a good sized hot tub. The only negative that the parking area was overflowing with cars. I am not sure if snow had covered up some parking areas or there were a lot of people doing park and fly. There was still room to park, even if it was not in a designated parking area. We would definitely stay there again.

“What a pleasant surprise!”

We still feel like we made a good choice for our 4 nights stay. Rooms were clean, quiet. The staff was more than accomodating when we arrived from an early morning flight. Shuttle service was great and dependable. Entering the lobby felt like going into a home....fireplace, kitchen....have already recommended it to family. Breakfast was handy and appreciated before starting a long day shopping!

“Nice simple hotel”

The hotel was located right off of the interstate and just blocks away from Mall of America. The staff was very nice and willing to answer any questions. It isn't a fancy hotel but just a nice clean place to stay.
