Nice hotel close to all amenities and malls.

Pros: Close proximity to shopping and restaurants!
Cons: The smells in the place. Get the reno's done already!
Location: Mall of America (8 mins), Twin Cities Outlet Mall (7 mins), Mystic Lake Casino (25 mins), Downtown (15 mins)
Check'd in, went to the room and found that the sheets were dirty, promptly notified front desk and were given a new room in another wing of hotel but same floor (much better). We've stayed at this property before earlier in the year (March) and found that the place was being reno'd, it still is and still has a funky smell about it (glue, paint, etc.). The property is close to Mall of America (approx. 8-10 mins), the new Twin Cities outlet mall (approx. 7 mins) as well as Mystic Lake Casino (approx. 25 mins). It does NOT have a pool so if that is what you're after, look elsewhere. It's basic no-frills accommodation, close to all amenities (there is a small mall approx. 2 minutes down the road) and some restaurants. Oh, if you like pizza, and who doesn't, check out the staff recommendation Bonfire Wood Fire restaurant which is only 7 minutes away!

It wa a very positive experince staying at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was both comfortable and clean. It was also very quiet. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. There was a variety of hot and cold items. We definately would stay at this location on our next trip to the Twin Cities.

Good Value

Cons: Flat panel TV getting 480p signal, so picture quality poor & no digital channel info. Also, back stairwell card access door broken & always unlocked.
Convenient location, comfortable updated rooms, nice hot breakfast bar, staff very pleasant.

Old dirty beds.

Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Better housekeeping.
We checked in on a Friday night. Room wasn't very clean. The worst part was she checked the sheets and we found all kinds of hairs on the sheets. Pretty gross we had to wait over an hour for new sheets. The kids were very tired and cranky.

Pros: Proximity to shopping and quiet! Liked the tv setup as it was easy to hook up my Bluray using HDMI inputs.
Cons: Rugs slightly damp so made it a bit uncomfortable on the first day. Rest of the stay fine.
Very pleasant stay! Came for Vikings and Twins games. Very quiet and close to Mall of America. Also close to the new Minneapolis Outlet Mall. Everything is here for a relaxing stay.

The Hotel was easy to find, there was a DELISH Mexican Restaurant down the street with a friendly bar a few doors down! Although I was initially upset there would be a $10/night charge for just leaving our car in their parking lot as we flew out, the Hotel Shuttle was definitely worth it! The Hotel Shuttle Drivers were prompt, helpful, and friendly...a great asset to the Hotel! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. As we left for the airport @ 5 a.m., they had a nice selection of cold breakfast items to choose from (the hot breakfast begins @ 6 a.m. I believe). When we returned to MPLS Airport, all we had to do was call the Hotel and the shuttle was there in 10 minutes to pick us up and drop us off at our car! Will definitely stay there again next time we fly out of MPLS Airport!

Pros: It had a fair breakfast
Cons: The whole cleaning process
Location: easy access to Interstate
The lobby is the only part of the hotel that is pleasing to the eye, the rooms are nice until you really take the time to look around, moulding is missing in the rooms, floors are not vaccumed, tables are not dusted, there were no screens on the windows and we were on the first floor. I was there with family for 6 days and not once was our room cleaned, one day we had no room service at all, we had been out all day and when we returned at 5 pm we had to have them call someone back in to at least give us clean towels and all the neccessities for the bathroom. Our key cards had to be re-programmed on a daily basis, no one knew how to get around or to St. Paul by train, we had to figure it out ourselves..... When going to MOA the shuttle driver was the one to offer us a coupon book not the hotel staff, needless to stay I was not very happy with Best Western. I normally stay at Comfort suites and thought that I would try someone different but you can be assured that I will be going back to Comfort suites.
