Great Price, great locationPosted Nov 24, 2013
Pros: The only down side, if you can call it that is the room was very warm. It took all night but finally cooled down to 65 degrees by morning.
We booked a room at the Kelly Inn the night we were attending a concert at the Excel Center. The hotel was very affordable in comparison to others in the area. The staff was very friendly and accomadating. They provided two shuttle buses to drop off and pick up patrons before and after the concert. The room was spacious and clean. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great downtown St. Paul LocationPosted Oct 29, 2013
Location: Located within walking distance of state capitol and Cathedral of St. Paul. Easy to shop in St. Paul, or to get to Minneapolis.
Don't judge a book by its cover! Hotel doesn't look great from the outside, but the staff was very friendly and the rooms are quite nice. The decor was updated, and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel was packed for the weekend, but was very quiet all 3 nights I was there. It was very convenient to the locations I wanted to go (Metrodome, Univ. of St. Thomas).

Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Please direct guests to other dining accommodations.
Location: We had chosen thus hotel because of its proximity to an event.
The heating/cooling in the room was not functional. The room was too warm for a comfortable sleep. The service in the restaurant, although not owned by the hotel, was very disappointing.

Fun and easy.Posted Oct 18, 2013
Very close to the excel and had a shuttle. Making it very easy to get there and back after seeing a show. Pet's are allowed so you don't have to leave your furry friends at home or find someone to take care of them. Overall was a great experience and a nice hotel.

Only 1 bedPosted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: It was close to our destination.
Cons: Provide a bed, breakfast and put some warm water in the pool.
Location: Excel Energy was clsoe by
We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child. Our room had only 1 bed and then a pull out couch. It was not very comfortable and I had to make the bed up myself. The pool temp was very cool and there were not enough towels. They seemed to be short staffed for a busy weekend. The staff were friendly

Nice. HotlllllPosted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Nice locale amidst highways and zooming trafficked. Large stately buildings add to peculiar setting. Be careful walking and crossing the streets.
Cons: Very solitary unpopulated area with zooming cars. Improvements might include more comfortable furniture or more highly educated staff but hey don't c
Had ok time in Kelly's. nice bar excellent selection of snacks and convenience foods

Great hotel in a great location in St. PaulPosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Location, comfort, reasonably priced
Cons: Sadly, no free breakfast. breakfast is in the restaurant and you pay for it, good food though and slightly cheaper than a Denny's or Perkins.
Location: Great location, 15 walk to downtown or the Xcel Energy Center. 5 minute walk to the State Capitol (beautiful building)
Great hotel for the money, clean and comfortable with a friendly staff. We went for a concert at Xcel, and they do provide a shuttle but it is within easy walking distance to the venue. Anywhere in downtown is within fairly easy walking distance for the physically able. If I ever need a hotel for something happening in downtown St. Paul again, this one will be it.

Comfortable, functional, convenientPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Service was excellent, check out and check in fast, the room was clean and well-appointed. I used the pool every day. The only negative is location: although centrally located, the hotel is not really in downtown but at the highway. It is very convenient to the State Capitol, if that is what you are interested in.
