“Worth it”
Elevators are a mess, TVs are antiques, and it should be noted that it's above a US Bank since it was so hard to find. Other than that the hotel is perfect. Great staff!
“Metrodome just blocks away”
The hotel was easy to get to and a short walk to the Metrodome. The room was large and beds were comfortable.
“Can't wait to go back to MN”
Very nice hotel. My room was remodeled. Good color tv set. Soft bed. Beautiful
“Best Bang For Your Buck”
I found this hotel on Expedia and wasn't sure what to expect but after a lovely weekend with my mother in Minneapolis, we agreed that it was the best bang you could really get for your buck when choosing a hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was lacking but they usually are. Nice pool and hot-tub. Lovely rooms. Would definitely stay there again if I had another academic conference at the University of Minnesota or if I wanted to spend time hanging out in Downtown Minneapolis.
“would stay there again”
Location was great, walking distance to see a Twins game. The rooms were huge and had two sinks. One in the bathroom and one outside so I could put on make-up while my husband showered. Very convenient. The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of options.
“Good Value”
Great location. 2 blocks from the light rail stop, 4 from the Metrodome. It's a little bit further from restaurants, but definitely walkable. The hotel's decor is dated but with all the free amenities they offer for such a reasonable price, it's definitely worth it.
“Must Stay in Minneapolis”
Value for Money.
“GREAT DEAL - NICE PLACE”
Stayed here for TWINS/YANKEES game in May 2010. BIG Apartment Style Rooms (seperate bedroom & living room area ... and two sinks - one in bathroom and one out - a big plus) ... BREAKFAST was GREAT with full omlettes made to order... I guess the decore is not modern but nor did i think it was old - it was nice.... The TV's however are old - but not a big deal... Very close to the Metrodome and a very easy 10-15 walk to Target Field (just make left out of building and go straight) ........ Staff was cool all wearing Twins jerseys on game day ---- GREAT VALUE, stay here and you'll be happy.
“excellent”
Very good
“Very Satisfactory”
We were pleasantly surprised that we got a suite, not just a room for a moderate price. The sitting room included a refrigerator, a wet bar, a tv, a microwave and much more and both rooms were very comfortable. The staff was really helpful. To top it all, we found that a full breakfast including a very complete buffet plus an omelet station was included at no cost. The hotel's restaurant had a limited menu but the food was excellent. And, the hotel's location was convenient. It was a short walk to the Convention Center where we were meeting and there were numerous excellent restaurants and a variety of stores nearby. Also, it was a short walk to a lovely park on the Mississippi River. I would definitely recommend this fine hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
