Rooms were clean. My son enjoyed the pool. Hot tub was broken at the time but fixed the following morning when we checked out. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choices for everyone. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.

Ok but will not stay again

Room - alright. Breakfast - alright. A little ways away from everything but we knew that going in. The main problem we had with this hotel was that there was no towels anywhere. No towels at the pool day or night. Not even first thing in the morning when we were the first ones in the pool. Couldn't even get any extra bath towels. Most staff was extremely unfriendly. Will not be staying here again!!!

It was a rough weekend for this, and I am sorry this happened. I ordered towels before the weekend, but they just did not arrive fast enough. There are some lessons you learn and will never forget. This was one of those lessons for me. I actually ordered additional towels, on top of the towels i already ordered, to prevent this from happening again. I truly apologize for the inconvenience I know this caused. I also apologize that you felt our staff was unfriendly. We take great pride in our Guest Service and Customer Satisfaction and most of our guests are extremely happy with us in these two specific areas. Although it is our goal to meet the needs and expectations of each and every guest we serve, we realize that a few of our guests may not be completely vowed. I am sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations, and may have even fallen short. Please accept my apology, and I hope one day you will be able to give us another chance. Best Regards, Maggie M. Honestly, I was expecting more and ended up disappointed. While staff were very friendly, the room we stayed in was in rough shape. Ceiling was peeling over the shower, wallpaper was bubbled, paint was scuffed and there was weird stuff stuck to the wall by the mirror, carpet was stained and we found little "treats" from previous guests on the floor by the edge of the bed. Breakfast was nothing to write home about-- warm biscuits and gravy for 2 of the days, and sausage and powdery scrambled eggs the other, plus the standard waffles, toast, and 3 cereals and yogurt. Pool was tiny but the area was clean. While it was close to southern Twin Cities destinations like Canterbury Park and Valleyfair, we wouldn't actively seek out this hotel to stay at again.

what wi-fi?

the room was clean, but the wifi is terrible. when we asked how to fix it they were like you just have to try again. we said we did and they said, oh... yea.. were getting it fixed. i asked if the guy was here fixing it, she said yes. we stayed for 5 days and we only had wifi in the lobby, when we were promised it in our rooms. the desk service was terrible and the lady talked to me like i was an idiot. it was close to valley fair which was awesome, but if you need wifi while you stay you should try somewhere else.

The staff was very friendly and asked the kids every day how our trip was going and remembered what the kids said the next day. The hotel rooms were average, nothing too fancy but clean and comfortable.The breakfast was very good and the breakfast lady even restocked after it was supposed to be over to allow later diners to eat. The front desk staff gave us menus and numbers to all the local places, and told us which were the best. The pool was a good temp and the so was the hot tub. The work out room wasn't very well equipped but other than that this hotel was great. Affordable, good location, great staff, clean and comfortable.
