Pros: It was close to the Mall of America and outlet malls.
Cons: Would have liked some meat and eggs for breakfast.
There were black hairs in the shower and sink, and on the bedding. We registered for five people and they gave us only two towels and two wash cloths -- had to keep asking for more.

Wonderful Hotel close to Mall of America

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Mall less than 10 mins away. I saw outlet stores even closer. I ordered a pizza picked that up less than 3 miles away. Gas stations food options close
We stayed at Days Inn from Wed July 22 til Sat July 25. The room had everything we needed. We were there to shop at mall of America. The room was simply for sleeping. The check in was easy and took less than 5 mins. Three of us stayed in the room with two queen beds. It was everything we needed. TV was big, beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities fit our needs. My mom was even happy with the counter space around the bathroom sink. She could put all her lotions and necessities around it. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast in the morning was good. Simple easy things. Waffles, cereal, donuts, toast, fruit, milk and juice. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning we were there. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it. It seemed to be pretty popular with all the kids in the hotel though. All in all if I was coming back to mall of America I would reserve a room here at Days Inn again. Thank you

Eagen hotel

The hotel is adequate. The breakfast staff and shuttle driver are wonderful! The breakfast offerings were slim, but there is a Mc'ds next door. Pool is fine-small. The fitness room needs updating. Housekeeping has little pride in their work- we stayed 3 nights- never vacuumed- found old food under the bed. Overall- adequate.

Nice, quiet rooms!

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Location: They have a free shuttle service to the Mall of America, to the airport, & to an outlet mall. There are several different restaurants down the road.
I used to work at a hotel, so I am quite picky when it comes to a hotel room! I can honestly say that Days Inn in Eagan, MN was better than I was anticipating! The rooms are small, but we were only in it to sleep, so the size didn't bother us too much. It was the first hotel that I have ever stayed in that you could NOT hear your neighbors! The place was full both nights we were there and we did not hear one footstep above us, or one single peep on other side of us! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! The price was great, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast kept us full until lunch, the pool and hot tub were relaxing, the staff was friendly, and the shuttle service guys were great! :) We WILL be back!

US-Standardeinrichtung - niedrige Fenster sind geöffnet für Kinder lebensgefährlich. Das Frühstück is US-like nur süss und nichts für uns. Spezieller Eigengeruch des Hotels. Alle sehr freundlich.

Reasonably priced hotel near MOA.

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Location, price.
Cons: The room had a strange "fish" odor, and you could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom...perhaps from a room next door?
Location: The Mall of America and Ikea are close by, as well as the Minnesota Zoo.
The hotel was reasonably priced, and within a 5-10 minute drive to the Mall of America. The room was clean, but had a slight odor to it, and we wondered if there was a smoking room next door, as the bathroom had a distinct aroma of cigarette smoke. The amenities were sparse (no refrigerator, tiny bathroom, etc) but for our needs, and the fact that our stay was very short, it was fine, and the price was good. We would stay there again for a quick layover.

The staff

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: the staff
Location: perfect location for me, but I wont stay there again
Well, the staff here were a very unhappy group of people who did nothing when you ask them to quiet a party next to my room. Nor would they move me to another room. They were not to capacity at the time but refused to move me and another gentleman from his room. The magnetic keys/doors did not work at my first room. After 3 trips by me and 1 by the staff/me the door still didnt work. So on to the next room and of course they didnt work the first time there either. The last thing I want to do after a 6 hr drive is make 5 trips from my room to the front desk to try and get in my room. Dont expect a smile from anyone there, a warm greeting either. My guess is they all hate their job and do not want to be there waiting on anybody. Location was perfect, but i will drive 10 miles in any direction out of the way before I stay there again.

For the money this place is ok. No great luxuries but we were not expecting any with this low price.
