Convenient Location

Pros: Location was close to the conference center my spouse attended. Location has easy access to the freeway system.
Cons: Such potential! Windows need to be fixed in rooms, facelift in décor, parking lot and ground could use some TLC.

This is a gem of a hotel but in need of some polishing to make it the 3.5-star hotel it was billed as. Check-in was smooth. Our floor lacked signage to direct us to our room so we wandered around, searching for our assigned room. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioner was wonderfully cool for sleeping comfortably. Our room had plenty of outlets to charge electronic devices, a rarity in many hotels. The bathroom was roomy with adequate space for toiletries; shower was a little weak and drains were a little sluggish to drain but not annoyingly so. Windows are in need of cleaning and repair; screen was worn and frayed. All maintenance workers were friendly and accommodating, whether it was extra coffee packets or towels supplied, they were friendly and cheerful. I've stayed in a wide range of hotels in the past year. If this hotel wants to be advertised as a 3.5 star hotel it needs to update the lobby and elevator areas on the floors, have faster elevators, have computers in the business center that have more than a snail-speed Internet connection, fix the pot-hole riddled parking lot, and place refrigerators, in-room safes and maybe microwaves in the guestrooms. There is such potential with a little effort and a little capital investment to make this a top property. Bottom-line recommendation: we would stay here again!

Decent Hotel with Attractive Decor

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and both times I was greeted cheerfully, but unfortunately I also encountered a room that needed maintenance attention. Both experiences had me walking into rooms in which light bulbs were burned out, this made it difficult to make my way in the room. There were also little nuisances throughout such as the room phone not working, the windows are in major need of exterior cleaning or replacement and the elevators could use a shine or replacement of parts to spiff it up. Despite some of these things overall the experience was decent, I slept well, the food was ok and I really appreciate the decor.

Staff was negligible at best. Pool area was still dirty at 11am with used towels everywhere and no clean towels. Had to ask staff to open the pool 3 hours after posted opening time. Asked for coffee packet to be brought to room and it never came. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Won't stay here again.

Location: It's in an industrial park, not much to do except eat at Denny's.
Upon arrival after 4 PM I approached the check-in desk, I stood there for a few minutes before even being acknowledged, only to find out our room was not ready. I was told to check back in 30 minutes. We were given drink coupons as compensation. 30 minutes later I returned to the desk I stood there without being acknowledged again. The toilet in our room had issues wanting to flush all items all the way. The next morning I went to the check-in desk to inquire about breakfast and again the staff did not stop what they were doing to at least look up.

Less than expected

Location: Not much, I was there for business.
Building appeared aged, room was dated with very poor attention to detail. The clock/alarm clock was unplugged, and once I plugged it in the numbers flashed but could not program the time, so I unplugged it. I was expecting a king size bed as per my confirmation, but once I arrived in the room it was two queens. screen on the window was torn and flapping in the wind, which I heard off and on most of the night. Not very happy with this Hotel!

I had a very nice stay. The hotel is clean, the staff very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was good. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
