“Bed qualities differ from room to room”

We've stayed in this motel 2 times. First time, all was perfect, just what we expected and wanted. Second time, the bed in our room was TERRIBLE. Completely different from the room the earlier trip. I think the mattress was quite old. The bed was more than firm (I have a firm bed at home and prefer firm beds), it was just plain HARD. It squeaked in a funny way when we turned over and it dipped in the middle, rather like the old I Love Lucy episode. My back hurt the entire time I was in the Twin Cities. We'll give this motel one more try and hope for a better mattress. If we get another bad mattress, there's plenty of other hotels in the area.

“Nice hotel”

Hotel was very clean. Rooms were nice also. Hotel staff was very friendly and gave directions to where I needed to go. Will definately stay there again.

“Convenient to the airport”

I had a late flight and wanted to spend the night in a motel before going to visit family the next day. This motel fit my needs. It is convenient to the airport and the suburbs south of St. Paul. It is well equipped for travelers planning a longer stay, but I only needed it for one night.

“Comfortable, but not the most modern hotel”

This hotel would be practical to stay at if you have a long weekend or a week to stay and wanted a kitchen. The room was a bit smaller than I imagined it would be. In the kitchen there are only 2 burners, no oven, also a microwave, coffee pot, toaster and full size refrigerator. There were 2 large plates, 2 sm plates, a skillet and a pot, 2 glasses, 2 mugs, 2 forks, spoons, knives. A kitchen knife and a pancake flipper. There was one wash cloth and one dish towel, but bring your own soap. They only change the bedding once a week. So if you are staying for the weekend know that you will not get a change of sheets or towels. There was nice hardwood flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. Upon arrival the AC unit was not working, but the repair man had it going within a few hours. The location is okay, not much to do in this area of Eagan. But it is a quick drive to the airport and to the zoo.

Couldn't believe the size of the room and the kitchenette. It was so quiet. The staff was very helpful.

“Small changes can make this a steal”

I had to stay here because everything else was booked during the 2008 Republican Convention in the Twin Cities. Well worth the money and in a very reasonable area. Just small things like a fresh smelling room and better quality of coffee would make this place real nice. The rooms are big and have more than adequate furniture. Just like most things in life, if attention is paid to the small details, this place would be my regular stop. Pleased overall though.

“Inexpensive.”

Hotel was worn, smelled like cigarette smoke in places. Front desk personnel were minimally helpful. The price was right. That's about all I can say about it.

“Not Impressed”

First room I was given was used and not yet cleaned, second room the key would not work. The room I finally got was quite dirty. No maid service. Dishes to use with no dish soap to wash them with. Have to get your own towels each day. The one staff member I did deal with was quite nice but did not make up for the dirty room and no maid service.
