New and Beautiful Hotel

Pros: Décor was modern and nicely decorated. Clean and new.
Cons: Fridge in the rooms and free breakfast.
Location: Location is great. Close to a lot of stores.
We enjoyed our stay at Four Points by Sheraton. The hotel is new and décor is modern and pleasing (carpet was plush). They have an L-shaped pool and a hot tub, which my family enjoyed. They offer free coffee/tea and water in the lounge area. The lounge is also very nice with beautiful seating and a large LCD TV. Our room was clean and had plenty of storage. The two things they can improve on are putting a mini fridge in the rooms and offering free breakfast. Staff are great.

Trip to MN

Pros: Bed was comfortable, pillows were not.
Cons: Staff that cared and wanted to improve themselves.
Location: Not much, afraid to leave because we couldn't make it back. Nothing dependable
It took about an hour for the water to be warm, the staff did not know the area, nor did they keep the shuttle schedule, stranding 20 people to make their way back by themselves by cab. When told about this they thought it was funny and just laughed. Pool was not clean.

Great price - nice hotel - for the price.

Pros: Nice pool area.
Location: Great location - near Mall of America - IKEA and several nice resturants.
The only downside was the fact that our room was never cleaned. We had to go to the front desk and ask for fresh towels, coffee and cups for the next day. Disappointing after a long day to come back to no fresh towels. Our room had an adjoining door, however we were not in a group. The people next door were noisy and the walls/door made the nose louder. They had a dog who only barked occasionally and I really didn't mind as it was not at night. My take is because I was able to book on Expedia for a lesser rate, I was placed in a lesser quality room. (ie. view out the window was of the air conditioning unit and pool).

OK hotel small rooms

Pros: We were put on ground floor with our dog that was nice.
Location: Easy to get too right off of 494
This was an OK hotel had to bring my dog along a deposit of $120.00 that I was unaware of. The rooms were small but comfortable. If you want a special stay I would not recommend this hotel but for just a room to sleep in with a pet it was OK. Staff was nice. Food was expensive.

Pros: Facilities and very clean rooms and public spaces.
Cons: More outlets in room; particularly near desk.
Location: REI flagship store in walking distance. Mall of America and airport a couple quick miles away.
Very comfortable bed. Nice and modern room. Free shuttle to the MoA and airport.

Nice hotel, helpful staff and comfortable room

Pros: The beds were comfortable, the staff was awesome and the rooms were updated and clean. Oh and the hotel food was delicious!
Cons: Offer later breakfast hours. Offer shuttle rides to Mall of America every hour as opposed to every two hours. Add a fridge to the rooms.
Location: Richfield, MN. Mall of America, Minnesota Zoo (caught the city bus), IMAX Theatre, Nickelodeon Theme Park, Sea Life Aquarium
Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My family came to Minneapolis to visit the Mall of America (Nickelodeon Theme park) for my daughters 6th birthday. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights.

We used the hotel for airport travel. We were only there briefly for departure and an overnight stay on arrival. It was good value and location.

Cons: Need a larger dining area.
Location: Great access to highways. Great shuttle service to both airport and Mall of America.
Staff at front was excellent. Had lost baggage problem and they were very cooperative and helpful.

Not very good customer service

I was suposed to stay at this hotel for one night before taking a flight out of MSP. Anyways I got to the hotel to check in and was told there was $120 incidentals charge. Not knowing this I of course only had a small amount on my card and the rest in cash. The staff was very unfriendly and unwilling to work with me. I asked if ic. Oils use cash and they explained to me why I could not which was fine. I called a family member to have them but it on their card and the staff at this point became very rude. They rudely stated no we can't except that! The card would either have to be in my name or the card holder would have to be here. Note the card holder was 3 hrs away and was not going to drive that far at 8 at night. They were unable to check me in and were very rude. They basically said goodbye and try a "cheaper hotel"! I was completely offended seeing as how money was not the issue! I ended up staying at a different hotel with much better customer service. From what I could see of the hotel though it was very nice and had a modern chic feel to it.
