“Great for Orchestra Hall”

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Hilton while going to a concert at Orchestra Hall. The location is perfect for this. check-in was a breeze with excellent guest service. We had an excellent breakfast at the hotel, but be warned, the portions are huge. Try sharing unless you are a linebacker. The only problem we had was that the hotel was so crowded that the wait for an elevator at around 6 pm was almost 5 minutes. Otherwise, it was perfect for this outing.

Area recommendations

Most neighborhoods in Minneapolis are fine. This hotel is right off Nicollet Mall which is ideal for many purposes. Plenty of excellent restaurant choices, top notch entertainment options.

“Very nice place!”

“Great night out on the town”

Great location, we went out on the town friday night, slept in went to a stellar buffet breakfast and then hit up the twins game at 3pm. Really good Minneapolis experience!

“Will Stay Again”

We stayed at the Hilton for a Twins game. Target Field was a bit of a walk but not bad at all, and it gave an opportunity to find eating options and explore the neighborhood. The hotel staff was great to work with, when we booked the room we were only able to reserve a room with two double beds, but when we got there we asked if there were any king rooms available, and there was one, and we were upgraded with no questions and no hassle. The room was pretty clean, there were parts of the carpet that were sticky and the carpet could have used a good cleaning and the light fixtures in the room and bathroom were quite dusty, but otherwise everything was nice. There is a starbucks right in the hotel lobby which was very nice. If you are staying here for a Twins game, get the ballpark package! Our stay was Saturday-Monday and for a small amount extra you can park in the ramp and come and go as you please for a great/cheap price and it is no hassle!

Dining

Go to 8th St Bar and Grill, great waitstaff, excellent food (Sirloin Steak Sandwich) is to die for! They had great appetizers, drink specials, over 40 taps of beer, good prices, you do not have to dress up! Cannot wait to go back here again for dinner and drinks the next time we are in Minneapolis!
