Had a Great Stay....!

“One night stay in twin cities with the kids!”

Definitely worth the price! Friendly front desk staff. No problems during our stay. Our kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub! Comfortable beds, room comfortable.

It was a very nice hotel and the staff was very kind.

For the price this was much better than what I had expected. Appears to be an older hotel, but recently remodeled. We had two queen beds, and an assortment of pillows. Beds were on the soft side, but I'm used to a foam mattress. We got in at night and the hotel appears to be in a business area with nothing around. If you go a couple of blocks east to Lyndale Ave, there's restaurants. The one minor problem was the shower, the showerhead is low, if you're 6ft you will have to duck.

“Could Benefit Greatly from a Fan in the Bathroom”

The Holiday Inn - Bloomington Airport was about what I expected, except for one important thing. The bathroom had no ventilation at all, which effected the entire hotel room. Everything felt wet. When we walked into the room the first time, it was freezing. After spending the night, I figured out that was the only way to remove the moisture. I was very happy to leave. Otherwise, the room and facility was fine. The pool area was nice. We ate at the Green Mill onsite the next morning. The food was good, but it took a long time to come - more than half an hour for breakfast basics like pancakes - and they were not that busy.

“Not Impressed”

Pool area sucked. Room wasn't as pictured. Hallways smelled of wet carpet. Restaraunt in hotel was nice and food was good. Just not impressed with what I spent for the room.

“Disappointed family over spring break”

The hotel is about 6miles from the Mall of America. My family and I stayed here for 4 days over spring break. The free shuttle provided by the hotel was difficult to use because you had to schedule a pick up time... very difficult to know when you are going to be done for the day. Also, a few other things about the hotel were concerning. We typically like to reuse our towels as a family when staying at hotels, but it was just about impossible at this one. No bathroom fans, very small rooms, and overall poor ventilation. The towels we got as replacements on our second day were not fully dried (actually they were pretty damp. Plus, when I booked the hotel on Expedia I listed we had 5 people staying in the room, but we were only given 3 bathroom towels to begin with! As for the pool: The air temperature in the pool area was a little on the cool side. Who wants to swim when the air temperature is 70 degrees. One last comment... don't drink the coffee in the lobby! It was the most bitter tasting coffee I ever had. We made sure to go out to Starbucks or Caribou Coffee after tasting that stuff. The staff at the hotel was friendly, but all-in-all the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to others.
