“Was Fine For The Length of Our Stay”
Had we decided to stay longer than 3 nights, we would have checked out the next day. The room was o.k, it smelled like "old, musty, humid" but the beds were comfortable. The hotel was 2 levels, no elevator so we LUGGED our luggage up 2 short flights. During our stay the housekeeping staff left our hotel room door open because the hinges were sticky and you really had to pull on the door for it to close. The staff was extremely friendly, probably the only good thing about it. The complimentary breakfast was horrible we ate it just to hold us through the morning until we could eat decent food elsewhere (powdered eggs, fake bacon...the mini muffins were good) The neighborhood was quiet and comfortable, there's a movie theatre, grocery store and other small businesses. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Arizona and they were luxury compared to this one, I guess this company is not consistent. Short stay-O.k, Long Stay...for a little more its worth it NOT TO STAY HERE!
Area recommendations
Minneapolis and St. Paul and definetly worth visiting. Eagan is small and cozy. Bloomington is great (Mall Of America) Very easy to navigate from all these areas.
Must see
The St. Paul Cathedral is beautiful! Even if you're not catholic but enjoy a mild religious experience this is a great place to go. Twin cities of course a Must-see. The state capitol very cool!
