“Only Okay”

Hotel was clean and staff courteous. What I would like to convey is the following: Bathrooms are very small. There were marks showing where the shower rod had been installed (correctly) and then had to be moved so the bathroom door could open all the way. When we tried to open the bathroom door, we had to pick up the bath mat because the door wouldn't open with it on the floor. The room itself is so big, it doesn't make sense that the bathroom is so small. We were there from Saturday night to Sunday. The breakfast went only til 10, and checkout was at 11. There should be a change in hours on the weekends so people who don't have to be on the road for work can sleep later and still eat and have time to check out at a better hour-say at noon like the other places I usually stay. Lastly, when I was trying to call the hotel prior to check-in to ask a question, I had to try 3 times, letting it ring a long time, before someone finally answered. They said they were helping a guest... I don't think ignoring the phone is a good way to provide service. I will give credit to the front desk who allowed an early check-in because my room was ready. That helped with my schedule and I appreciated that very much.

“Great Bed!”

Only issue was some mold in the corners of the shower. Everything else was wonder full. King size bed sleep very good, breakfast was wonderful

“Roseville”

The hotel is clean and has easy access. A few suggestions, add an outside patio area to sit outside maybe a lounge inside with a bar and a pool would be nice also

“Nice place”

Close to Minneapolis, fairly quiet, nice place to stay

“Very friendly staff. Nice central location for when we visit our home town.”

The people at the front desk were very friendly. We dragged ourselves in after a long day and they took care of us. They even upgraded our room to the suite! The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was great, not too firm. The fridge and microwave were a nice surprise too. We were still hungry after our Thanksgiving dinner (odd?) so we bought some frozen meals from the lobby and heated them up in our room. The area surrounding the hotel looks rather industrial but DON"T WORRY! There is a mall, grocery store and restaurants right to the east of the hotel. The hotel has a map of the surrounding area that includes all these points of interest. The breakfast was nice too. Decent coffee, scrambled eggs, biscuits, hot cinnamon rolls, hard boiled eggs, bacon etc. It's the typical Holiday Inn Express meal and it kicks butt over the usual stale continental breakfasts that many places provide.

“Just Above Normal”

Excellent breakfast bar - hotel room was always clean. Front desk staff were very cordial and excited to inform me as to the local establishments when I sasked. Maps and other necessities were offered. Nice place to stay. Close to everything.

“Solid, no-frills bargain”

HIEs are good solid performers for me. There's nothing special about them (other than the shower-head, perhaps), but they deliver exactly what they should -- a clean room, a comfy bed, and a good price. The staff at this hotel were quite friendly and helpful - noticeably more than at other midscale hotels I stay in for business. Sometimes I long for room service or more pampering when I travel for work. Knowing that these are not part of the HIE equation, a mini-fridge will work just fine, thanks.

“Holiday Inn Express Roseville”

I was totally satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the entire place, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
