“Homstead 4/15/11”

I have stayed at this hotel in the past a few times. I only stay 2 or 3 nights at the most. With that short a stay, no maid service is available. I am happy with that and the fact that there is a kitchenette in the room. I live 200 miles north of Minneapolis and visit family, friends, events and shop til I drop. Many times we purchase items from various food shops that must be refrigerated, so the kitchenette if very handy. This stay I found too many dust bunnies around the edge of the room. Both my husband and I were sneezing too much. As before, the staff is very friendly and helpful if we need towels, coffee, etc.

Area recommendations

This hotel is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota with all the stores one needs for shopping. As well as convenient to major highways.

What to pack

Remember to bring dish soap and bath accessories like full size bars of soap, shampoo, lotion, etc.

Shopping

Three discount stores are less than a mile from the hotel. Shopping mall is very close and many resaurants around the neighborhood too.

“worth the money spent”

I have been in many rooms for a lot more money than at this hotel and I certainly was not dissappointed with the hotel. If I had one suggestion it would be to have an ice machine on the premises.

“A good hotel near Chanhassen”

“Nice Stay in Eden Prairie”

Arrived and was greeted by a friendly face. Check-in was quick and was in my room in less than 5 minutes. Room was comfortable - loved the kitchen.

I lived in Eden Praire and surrounding areas most of my life. I moved 200 miles North and was just visitung friends and family as well as going to some local functions.

“Not worth it”

The hotel was very disappointing. The cost was not that much better than other hotels in the area. I was quite surprised to find that they had pay coffee in the lobby (although it was only a quarter). Since I took a flight with only carry-on, I did not have a razor when I arrived and the only razor that they had was in a vending machine for two dollars. There was a strange odor in the hotel and the bed was uncomfortable. The television signal was poor. They do not provide shampoo or conditioner in the room (again... the whole carry-on thing). On a good note, the people were friendly.

“very good value”

Very good rate for the amenities, full refrigerator, microwave, nice sitting area, bathtub. The only problems were the toilet made a horrendous noise, and the bathtub wouldnt hold the water, just kept draining out. Otherwise, friendly and helpful staff and a nice room.

“I'll be back!”

I was concerned what I was signing on for with the low rate but was pleasently surprised when I got there. The front desk staff was extremely accomodating and helped me to find out how to get to my meeting the next day.

“best deal I could find”

I took the kids to Valley Fair for three days we checked in our room it was a good size room with a kitchen and alot for storage area and it was clean went to supper market and got food for weekend it was a nice place for the price we ate our meals there witch save me the cost of the room rather then eating out

bring paper plates and silver ware and maybe a bigger pot and pan
