The room was very old and run down... The bed was worn out...anything but firm. Bounced like a care with bad shocks. To stay overnight for a place to sleep it was ok, but for a lenghty stay I will go somewhere else.

worn out hotel

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: staff
Cons: everything
Hotel was changing names which made hard to find (still said super 8). Room clean, but worn out. Bathroom sink has caulking broken out behind sink & drain stopper is broken leaving huge hole. Vinyl floor tile has small amount of mold in cracks. People were nice, but place is worn out & needs major work. I spend at atleast 30 hotels a year at hotel / motels & this is in bottom 1/2 at best.

Not clean and drunk people outside

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
We needed a place to stay for one night and we called expedia and they gave us this hotel to stay. Our first experience was drunk but kind people. The super 8 was very old and not well maintained. Our room was dirty and we were very tired . Would not stay here again.

The first room we were given had a broken tv with a hand written note from the previous occupant saying "tv is broken--you lied". They switched our room right away, tv worked, bathroom was awful--appeared to be under remodel and sink did not drain

Not what I expected

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: The staff allowed us to change rooms. These rooms were better.
Cons: Everything!
Location: Not much to do, it was convenient for us.
We booked our stay on Expedia. On arrival our rooms were dirty, the air conditioning did not work, the halls were dark and dank. We were informed that it was a Super 8 and they had not changed the name. The rooms were missing light bulbs, the tv didn't work, the remotes held together with tape. We were unable to change that night, as all rooms were full. There were drunk fighting people in the lobby when we checked in.

Nice location near Snelling Ave

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: location
Unfortunately breakfast was lacking. There was no butter or syrup and cream cheese ran out as well. Bagels, toast and waffles are not the best without butter or cream cheese. There was only grape name. We wanted to eat one more donut, but it was the last at 9:20am. The Spa tub was out of order.

Pros: kicatuib
Cons: Destroy and start over, Or do a complete reno
Location: Soccer tourment
Hot tube out of order. Alarm clock didn't work. The aiir conditioner was so cold we had to open the windows. Towesl were late getting to the room. Otherwise, the bed was lumpy. Location was good tho.

Don't judge a book by its cover...

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Cons: Cleanliness
The outside of the hotel is very good and clean looking but that's about it. The beds weren't clean and neither were the floors (someone else's hair?!) One bed was like a hard piece of wood and the other was all springs no padding.... and the TV didn't work. We checked out early and we don't ever do that.

Worst hotel ever

I am surprised this place is still in business. Super 8 should be ashamed to have their name on this hotel.

Great place for price with pleasant staff.

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Price
Cons: Beds
Location: Lots of eating places near by and easy to find with GPS.
The floors did need to be cleaned and the beds were terrible. It was way better for maintenance and cleanliness than I expected considering the the price. I would stay again!
