Nice, clean and quietPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Spacious rooms, decent breakfast, courteous staff.
Cons: Better outside parking situation. Had to park in another business parking lot because this hotel's lot was full. Wi-Fi was slow.
Location: Mall of America an easy 3-4 minute drive away down one street.
A nice, clean and quiet hotel close to Mall of America. Decent breakfast. Courteous staff. Parking can be tough if the hotel is full. Would easily stay here again. Moderately priced compared to others in the area.

No thrills, but I liked my roomPosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: My room was quiete, clean, and comfy. Wifi was decent as well.
Cons: Front desk staff
Location: Joe Sensor's restaurant, Lucky 13 restaurant are my go to places each month I fly in, and stay in Bloomington.
When I walk into a hotel, I expect the frontdesk associates to be the most professional and cortious, but this way far from what I saw. The girl who checked me in, didn't even acknowledge there was 6 people waiting in front of me. She looked like she just rolled out of bed. She didn't say any thing friendly, forgot to give me back my credit card and ID, so when I went out to dinner that night I was embarresed when my check was presented to me. Both women that worked the desk, the 5 days I attended, might as well showed up in their pajamas. At least look like you tried to shower and dress for work. My key card kept deactivating all week. Zero thanks from the desk at check out as well. Hotel on the othe hand was fine, staff.....seemed like they were miserable at work. Don't go to the Denny's bar attached to the hotel. Choose a different local place such as Joe Sensors or Lucky 13's. Great menu's safe and fun environmnet.

At least I got in my ExercisePosted Jul 23, 2015
When we arrived we were checked in and given the wrong room number and key. We walked into someone else's room. I'm so glad they were not in the room at the time. I then had to hop on the elevator (there is only one elevator for all four floors) and get the correct key. Once I had the correct key we went to our new room where the bathroom mirror was sitting up against the wall. I had to go downstairs again and the maintenance man came to repair the mirror. The manager did state he would give us a discount. By night 2 our toilet broke. We informed the front desk and no one came for 3 hours. I then had to walk go back downstairs where the front desk attendant said I thought it was just jammed and since the maintenance man was gone for the day... she never gave me her reason. So we were given a new room, the keys did not work once again and I had to walk back downstairs. In the new room there were things wrong but by this time we had had it and we're ready to just come back home. It's clear the hotel is due for upgrades and remodeling the staff were really nice helpful and accommodating. I just wished the hotel conditions matched the staff.

Front desk staff could be nicerPosted Jul 20, 2015
Requested a rollaway (none available) extra sheets, blanket and pillow three times. Finally just went to front desk and was given one small blanket. Room was huge.

Nice Hotel with free shuttle to Mall of AmericaPosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. The pool, hot tub, weight room, hot breakfast (fresh waffles), free shuttle, iron and board in the room.
Cons: Make sure guest know how the shuttle runs, i.e. there is a printed schedule normally. You have to make an appointment to get a ride to the airport.
Location: Close to Walmart for snack runs. A Denny's connected to the hotel. Outback close by. The shuttle will take you to Mall for more restaurants and train.
I couldn't ask for a better hotel for the price! Excellent weather( June 20 -27 ). The people in Minn. were very nice and helpful. Most of the sightseeing tours were a bit pricey. There were many free thing to do, however. The train was easy to navigate.

Hotel needs refurbrishingPosted Jun 18, 2015
The room had a very loud exhaust fan in the bathroom and the air conditioner was extremely loud, as well. A section of the bathroom ceiling was sectioned and replaced poorly. Asked for a receipt when checking out and was informed that I would need to get it from Expedia.
