Be Careful

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Location. Easy to find and quick on and off of the interstate.
Cons: Everything.
This place is sketchy at best. From the initial check in with a broken A/C in the lobby, missing vending machine on the way to the room, to the old tv and room amenities, the whole experience was lacking. The continental breakfast in the morning did nothing to improve my opinion. I'd keep looking if I were you...

Clean and quiet, pet-friendly, centrally located

Posted Aug 14, 2014
Pros: The rate was okay for a centrally located motel, and they accept pets. It was clean and quiet.
Cons: Housekeeping; how hard can it be to make sure the few things that are used each day are replaced? And front desk service could be more responsive.
Location: Roseville, in between Minneapolis and St. Paul. There are many good restaurants nearby (India Palace next door), a mall, easy access to 35W.
We stayed here 3 nights total after spending one night in a nearby hotel that was pretty awful. This place was clean, quiet, included breakfast and wifi, and accepted pets for an additional fee per pet per stay. I had to make several requests at the front desk (see below re: housekeeping) and they were always quite busy. On the first try the staff person was on the phone for quite a long time without acknowledging that I was standing right there. The breakfast was standard fare--lots of carbs, no proteins (other than sweetened peanut butter packets), only mealy apples for fruit. And like many places, they have someone staffing that room both to keep it stocked and orderly and to make sure you don't take one crumb out of there to eat in your room. I don't understand this, since the rooms come with fridges & microwaves, and they sell prepared meals in vending machines that you can nuke and eat in your room. Each day we had some small omission by housekeeping. First they didn't replace the coffee, the next day they provided no coffee cups, the third we got no hand towels.

Hello PKA, Sorry for the discomfort you experianced while staying with us. We wish when writing a revive the guest could write their room number and full name too so that we can pull up the respective housekeeper for doing a shoddy job. Also the breakfast provided is what is suggested to us by Days Inn. We are happy that even with our short comings in some areas, you still had a pleasant stay.

Hotel Close to relatives .

Posted Aug 3, 2014
Upon arrival we found a dirty washcloth in the shower. We were told there was free WI-FI but were unable to access it even w/ code provided.. Finally after 2 visits to the desk were able to access for about 10 minutes. Then it failed we were unable to reconnect. No hot water in the sink, Shower was ok. Only one ice machine for entire hotel was working. (on 3rd floor). Sheets & beds were clean, staff were friendly although unable to remedy problems. Will probably never stay at this hotel again and would recommend that others not stay there either. Manager who checked me out never ask about our stay only if we wished to keep the payment on card provided.

We are sorry for your experience with us..We do have free WI-FI and sometimes some guests are unable to access it on their laptop is because of their security settings. We do have two ice machines on the property and during your stay the ice machine on the first floor broke down and we apologize for that.We wish you would have stated your name and the room number so that we could have pulled the housekeeper for doing a shoddy job and written him or her up.

Unclean and smelly room.

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: Close the place down to clean it!
Location: Very nice restaurant in the hotel next door that I wished I had booked instead!
On arrival staff did not know how to handle the prepaid status. Room was never cleaned when I entered. Manager gave me a different room that smelled from cigarette smoke. When I mentioned it, he said the air conditioner would clear it out. Of course it's did not and I had issues staying asleep as the smoke smell in the pillows was soooooo bad. Would NEVER go back again!!!!!

It´s OK.

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Staff is kind and willing to help. Bus and basic services nearby. Roseville Mall at walking distance.
Cons: Room serviceÑ nce they forgot to service the room, another time they forgot to finish the service leaving pillow without cases and no towels.
Location: The location is good. It has nearby transportation to downtown, there´s a Burger King and a Wlamart very close.
I stayed 10 days for work purposes The breakfast is simple but was good enough for me. I would go back.

No suites here, one of the most outdated hotels!

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: tear it down and build something else hear
Location: There is a mall within walking distance about a mile or so.
This is not a hotel that has any suites, the hotel is ready for a total renovation or tear down. Our room has a wall that had a leak and a smell. By-pass this place, a lot of better hotels near by.

Hi Jim, We would have appreciated if you would have been more specific about which room you are talking about because we believe in putting a room in the market when it is 100% good. If you had informed us, we would have gladly moved you in to a different room. Our hotel being basic budget hotel, we do not have any suites nor do we claim to have them.

Need more Maintance

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Staff was very friendly
Cons: New Hotel Sign.
Location: Roseville, MN We were there for a wedding.
Room 416. Tub drained very very slow. Done with my shower and there was still 3 inches of water in the tub. Also we drove past it 4 times because we were looking for Roseville Inn and Suites and all we seen was Days Inn. Not until we drove into Days Inn to ask for directions did we notice a very small sign that said Roseville Inn.
