Kind of run down but not too bad. They allow smoking in the elevator and it really stinks for a non smoker.

“Choose another hotel”

Didn't expect much after reading previous reviews but since I have stayed at Super 8 's before I already knew they are a no frills cost effective type establishment. This particular Super 8 was the WORST I have ever stayed in. The building was extremely run down and very dingy. When we got to our room the door was open already (creepy) and there were no towels in the bathroom. The walls and floor were dirty, and when I pulled back the covers on the bed (as I always do right away if a room looks unclean) they were stained and there was a hair on them. I went down to front desk and told them what I found and to their credit they promptly gave me a new room. However the next room was only marginally better than the first, but at least it looked as though it may have been cleaned recently and there were clean towels in the bathroom. Since reading negative reviews about this hotel before arriving, I brought my own clean sheets and pillow cases from home and I used those over top of the "clean" sheets on the bed. I slept better knowing that at least where I was sleeping was clean. I think next time I will spend the extra money and pick another hotel. Will NOT be going back to this one!

“Never going back”

This was a sad trip for the family. When we walked into the hotel, it looked worn down and out of date. The halls were dirty. As we walked by the area for the laundry machines and the housekeepers kept the trash bags in front of them. They were put there in the morning and stayed there at least through 9pm as we got back to the hotel. The toilet kept running. When it was time to take a shower, there was MOLD surrounding the shower, inside and out. The floors in the bathroom were just as disgusting. I have stayed in several hotels and thought one other one was disgusting but this takes the prize. The inspection department in Minnesota will be contacted as it is not safe to have people stay in a room that has MOLD! Do not stay at this place.

“Has seen better days”

We were attending Car Craft, so the location was very good. Accessible to shopping and a variety of eateries. The property seems old and not very clean. Gargbage at our entrance/exit door was there on the ground for 2 days. The room was very small and had a view of a wall. We did have a fridge and the bathroom was clean. The staff did their job without too much enthusiasm or any pleasantries. The continental breakfast area was updated. The attendant didn't bring out any large paper plates for the waffles until after we had eaten. She didn't seem to be around to wipe the tables. Next time, we will look for another hotel.

“Disgusting, flea bag motel - Stay Away!”

I am a business traveler, so I have stayed in many motel/hotels and this one is the winner for worst ever. It was nasty unclean and unkept. I didn't sleep a wink due to all the rif-raff walking the halls and slamming doors. The room was so gross, but the worst was leaving and seeing the hooker walk out the door along side me with "Pooky-Bear" the pimp waiting in his car. Stay away!

The stay was just like any other motel stays. The place was decent (hey, it was fairly cheap) and I am statisfied with what I got.

“Old and tired”

We've stayed in a number of Super 8 hotels in the past 24 months and were pleasantly surprised by how nice they were. All were fairly new buildings. This one is just too old and tired and needs to be torn down and replaced.
