So much better than Big Box Hotel

Posted Apr 15, 2014
Helpful, informative staff. Finds time to converse with guests. Close to river with park; Former warehouse district now pleasantly gentrified. Washington Ave developing as new hub for restaurant and art galleries. Walking distance to Whole foods mkt & others; also Nicolet central commercial center & mall. Enjoyed shopping and some cooking of dinner Great breakfast.

Town Place Suites

This hotel was OK, but nothing exceptional. It is in a nice neighborhood, with lots of people out walking their dogs.

Great for the price!

Pros: Although, the stove was a little out-dated, it was functional. I was able to cook a my whole entire meal without any problems.
Cons: Walls too thin,we could hear the couple next door doing their business & other room next to us, the gal was throwing up in their bathroom all nite
Location: Loved the location. It was very close to many DT attractions that my husband and I wanted to go to.
My husband and I were looking for a hotel in DT area that included a kitchen, as I wanted to cook him a nice Vday dinner. This was a good place and was in a great location!

Great pillows! The bed was very comfortable. Nice clean bathroom. Couch was a little stiff but that wasn't a big deal. Our room had a kitchen but we didn't use it. Overall we left very impressed.

simple but useful

Posted Sep 28, 2013
The room was large and comfortable, as was the bed. The bath and kitchen area were fine. The cable tv lacked high-definition and seemed fuzzy; the remote control was sticky and slow to respond. The provision of wi-fi at no charge was a big plus. The hotel serves breakfast, which was adequate but not inspiring. The coffee, juice, fresh fruit, and small yogurts were the best parts. Instant oatmeal and several sugary commercial cereals did not look all that appetizing. At the business center in the main lobby, the use of a computer and printer was a real amenity. Unfortunately the printer would not respond to commands from the printer (to print a boarding pass), but the person at the reception desk saw it would not work and offered the use of machines behind the counter.

Nice hotel within walking distance of Target Cente

This hotel was nicely located within walking distance of target Center target Field and other downtown places. Rooms were decently sized nice suites. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were nice perks. Good value.
