Property Amenities
This functional hotel located directly on the beach holds ISO 14001 and EMAS certificates for environment-friendly management. All areas of the hotel, from its 3 restaurants and lobby bar to common area balconies to guestrooms and their balconies are constructed to maximize enjoyment of the unsurpassed natural beauty of the surroundings. First floor was completely renovated in 2011. Guests will enjoy the adults' pool and separate children's pool and free gymnasium, and, for a fee, sauna, whirlpool, and massage services are also available. Children's activities, two groups by age. Meeting room, capacity 40. WiFi in common areas (surcharge). Shopping gallery with supermarket. Self-service laundromat. Towels for the pool. Limited parking.

Restaurants include Bellavista restaurant with spectacular view, offering buffet-style meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring show cooking; Bellavista's "Rincón Italiano," offers Italian food, and theme buffets weekdays. From June to September Es Mirador Restaurant offers and varied buffet with show cooking for breakfast and dinner on its outdoor terrace. And for fine dining, with reservations only, Macarellla restaurant with its view of the beach, serves local specialties. Lookout lobby bar. Day and evening entertainment for adults and children. “Almost a disaster”
Disaster, the location is the only thing that kept me, Cala Galdana is well connected to the rest of the island and the view from higher floors (like ours) is amazing. There is no twin or double bed (neither king nor queen) in the whole hotel. They join two single beds together just by putting them beside each other, we fell in between both beds once at night. Then we decided to just seperate them. this was our anniversary trip!!!! Kettle and tea or coffee is not available, you rent the kettle from the reception for 10 euros. and there is no way I will go back because none of the staff (maybe one?) speak any english. Breakfast is a rushed two hour affair, also read all the other reviews about beach towels, you dont get a new pair each day, you get to keep using the ones you put a deposit for. Don't risk it if you expect service of any kind, the rooms are a bit old and the fire alarm goes off at any minute, the doors lock you in, and you get to panic a little bit. I will never go back there or to any Sol Hotel!! Clean is all you can get from the hotel I will give them that much!
