Nice hotel, convenient.Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: I like that most of the staff speaks English in a pretty much non English speaking city.
Cons: The wi-fi connectivity in the rooms. I'm traveling on business, so this is necessary.
Location: There is an underground mall right next door, a market next door and a bar inside. There are lots of things near the hotel.
This was my second stay at Hotel Minsk. It is conveniently located and pretty much 24 hours in terms of service. I like the historic feel and the breakfast buffet. My only complaint is that I wish the wi-fi was better in the room.

Nice hotel with all of the amenitiesPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Breakfast buffet
Cons: Update decor
Location: It was near a subway and I was able to get around quickly. I also could walk down the avenue to many shops.
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Minsk. The room was large and comfortable (double superior) and I there was enough English speaking staff/options to for me not speaking Russian. I enjoyed the large number of selections at the breakfast buffet.

Would go back.Posted Apr 18, 2012
Hotel Minsk is a nice hotel, with good service, and the restaurant has very good food, the breakfast was excellent. Probably the only thing wrong would be the price of the rooms, quite expensive for what they are, but still, I would go back there. It is very central, and you can walk almost everywhere from there or to the metro station. The train station is about a 10 minute walk. Overall it is a very nice hotel.

Certainly would advise to visit Minsk, Belarus and the Hotel Minsk. Excellent location on the main avenue in the centre of the city. Metro, shops, restaurants and clubs are all on the doorstep. Trips to Belarus are always an adventure which with years becomes more and more comfortable. Nice restaurant is Gostinniy Dvor (old Belarussian, Lithuanian, Polish type of cuisine) which is right next to the hotel and in front of the Red (because of bricks it is made of, nothing to do with the Soviets ;-) Church. But if you feel a bit nostalgic, you can find a very nice "My English grandmother" place with Miss Marple portrait over the entrance. We had breakfast there, enjoyed food as well as the service (this restaurant is located on Karl Marks street, not far from British Embassy, walking distance from the hotel).
