Disapointing Ramada

Pros: If it weren't for the things I spoke about earlier, I would have totally enjoyed my stay.
Cons: Maintenace, Housekeeping & a Hospitaple person behind the bar.
The maintenance & housekeeping wasn't much to be desired! It's a "NO SMOKING" hotel but our room smelt bad of smoke. Changed rooms but the room was just ok on the smell. Carpet & windows in our room were very dirty. There were rolled up rugs inside the pool gate for three days in the same position. The ice machine by our room didn't work for three days. (There was a ice bucket sitting in front of machine the entire time as well). Room next to us "room #" had fell from it's posistion and layed on the floor for a day. The person who was running the bar area kept complaining about the staff. She kept leaving the bar area unatteded.The lack of customer service was the reason we left the lounge when we were planning on staying and drinking and having dinner. Very unprofessional. My overall experience was a BIG disapointment. If I didn't see Ramada's name on the building I would have thought it was a shabby hotel. I could't beleive that Ramada & Wyndham would let this hotel represent them in this unpleasant way. I choose to stay at Ramada / Wyndham for it's quality in hospitality, housekeeping & it's reputation and I received the opposite. Very disapointed!!!!!

Our stay was okay

Pros: The pool was wonderful, and everything around it was very pretty.
Location: We went to Kansas because a niece had passed away. We did not do any shopping or things to do near by.
The hotel was beautiful, but the bathroom was a little bit too small. at the breakfast, the coffee was very watery, and no bacon or sausage like at other motels that we have stayed. Other than that, things were okay. I would recommend this motel to other people.

Sketchy but a great deal

Well we didn't get murdered so I guess that's a plus. It's pretty rough but strangely enough the room was fairly clean. Lots of sketchy looking people just hanging out near the doorways. As night fell groups of thugs congregated outside the front entrance. The pool smelled like a dead rotting dog. The breakfast was great...really! We won't stay there again.

Close to my destination, disappointing cleanliness

Pros: Mike Quimby at the front dek was very professional and the bartender was very very nice
This was my first time at this Ramada. I booked it as it was very close to my destination. (2 blocks) I was placed in room 106. This is terrible because its on the first floor by the pool and directly across from the housekeeping are so that kept waking me. The only place to order food was the bar & grill and there was NO room service. The restroom in the room reeked of urine. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Pros: It was reasonably safe in a decent part of town with a well lit parking lot.
Cons: Serious cleaning.
The fan vent in the bathroom was the filthiest thing I have ever seen in a hotel room. Nasty grime on everything - the shower floor, the sink and faucets, the refrigerator, the door, etc. Lost my appetite when I saw the 'complimentary breakfast'. Eggs that were gray/green and looked like they had been there for days. Disgusting.

the room smelled horrible. it was musty, moldy, smoky, really not sure what all. it was very damp. worst place we've stayed in years...maybe ever. most certainly will not go back or say a single good thing about it. paid way to much for the room even if it had been decent. it was very noisy.....people being loud outside our room at 1.40 am and then again at 3. almost called 911. the screaming, fighting, cussing, was disgusting. continental breakfast sucked. slept with one eye open.

Cons: needs lots of updates
our room smelled so terrible, when we went to eat breakfast the next morning they were out of several items, the counters were not clean, staff was not very friendly. terrible experience.

Great hotel location.

Pros: The staff was very nice, and helpful!
Cons: Rooms need to be updated, fix the bathroom door, fix the ice machine, fix the washer and dryer, and fix the games in the game room.
Location: The location was the best part you are close to serval restraunts, and there is a big mall about 15 minutes away!
The hotel was at a great location, and all the staff was very friendly. The hotel needs some serious updating, or at the very least needs to fix everything to where it at least works. When we stayed there I was needing to wash my son's soccer’s uniform but was not able to because the washer or dryer was not working. Then my son wanted to go and play at their game room, but none of the games worked the machines just took his money. Then in the morning we needed ice for my son’s water bottle before his tournament and it was broke so we had to go to QT, which luckily just across the street from the hotel.
