We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Nice pool area. Con was no free breakfast or coffee in lobby and food was very expensive at the cafe. Regular Coffee four dollars. Coffee maker in room, but only given 4 decaf to make, but second day I was able to trade for caffeinated at front desk. Staff was friendly. Didn't feel real safe walking around the grounds due to several homeless people near the entrance and on the road in front of hotel. Was kind of worried about rental car.

We have stayed here in the past. Its location is good with basic rooms that are clean and quiet. Parking was difficult to find after dinner so we had to walk a long distance in the rain to get to our room. Also, there should be a time limit enforced on the only 2 electric vehicle chargers. The same cars were plugged in during our entire stay.

Everything was pretty straightforward. Room was clean and quiet. Walking through the property, my son commented on how it felt like we were in Hawaii with some of the tall lush vegetation on the grounds. I would stay here again.

Property was nice, clean, and accessible. The only thing that was difficult was the parking... it was hard to maneuver a van in the space close to the room.

Rooms outdated! Parking limited. Construction in place. AC does not work. Sheets old and grey! Not bright white sheets. No compliment breakfast! Cafe old and needs update. Nice design of hotel lots of potential but just nothing has been remodeled

Thank you for your comments. We have plenty of parking between each building. Not sure what construction you're mentioning, we don't have construction taking place. We are looking in to upgrades for the hotel for later this year and in to 2025.

I really liked that it was about 10-15 minutes driving from the main part of San Diego. It has a bar and restaurant which made it convenient for night outs. We only went to the bar but you have to pass through the restaurant to get to the bar and it smelled amazing and everyone there was incredibly nice

Amazing chicken fingers from the in-house restaurant “seven seas cafe.” Friendly staff lady brought them to my room. bless her heart. she was so kind. I would like to say there was an unauthorized solicitor trespassing on the property distributing pizza menu flyers into every room through the slit in the door and I found it very much a nuisance. I should have reported him. Aside from that- the hotel itself was good.

Towels were rough, thin and discolored. Bedding was cold. I don’t sleep with a heater and there were no bed covers, only a thin blanket and a sheet. No shampoo was available either. Only conditioner. TV channels were also limited Disney or Nickelodean would have been nice for my kids. Maybe I found 1 or 2 movies that were very outdated. It is the second time I stay in this place. The price was not the cheapest and I received a very cheap stay. Will never stay here again. This place is NOT LIKE OTHER BEST WESTERNS.

The sink leaked more than the faucet. Flooded the carpet area and the staff responded with attitude when we notified. We asked for another room and they lied and said they were fully booked but weren’t. The mini fridge did not work.

The staff was nice at check in. Once to my room I noticed I didn’t have a microwave in my room that was stated on my check in date. I went up to speak to one of the receptionist at the front desk and was told something totally different very very unprofessional. The room didn’t look nothing like the picture much smaller.

Enjoyed my stay and everything was good. Some small upgrades could be made but it’s nothing to hang your head about. Even when my flight was delayed coming in, the young man at desk made it quick for me to check in after hours.

I have stayed at this property multiple times for years (from Comic Con days to just regular leisure). I've always had a good experience here. Check in was super easy as usual. My room (a Queen bed this time), although would be considered older, was clean. The bathroom, tables, linens, etc were all clean. I always check the bed before I get too comfortable in there and everything down to the mattress was clean. I never eat at the restaurant there so it's not something I can comment on. Parking was easy and plenty of spots. I always check here when I'm looking to visit San Diego. It's kind of perfectly placed to everything I want to see or visit.

Nice heated pool and hot tubs. Isolated if you are on foot. No bus 88 on Sundays but green line trolley is a 12 min walk at Fashion Valley stop. Nice people at the hotel desk. Nice clean rooms.
