“U of M visit”

Loved this hotel! The entire staff was wonderfully friendly and went out of their way to be helpful! Loved the location, the rooms were great and the bed VERY comfortable!

“A river runs through it...”

Location is beautiful and convenient to town and the University. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had breakfast there one morning and while it was very good and the view from the dining area was breathtaking, it was very expensive ($40 plus tip for two people). Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to a friend.

We've stayed at the Doubletree a number of times and always come back. There are newer hotels in Missoula but the Doubletree is by far the most comfortable for our needs. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The cookies were awesome!

“Exceeded Expectations”

Stayed here visiting U of Montana. Room was well furnished and very clean and comfortable. Staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. Easy walking distance to campus across the picturesque Clark Fork River, and to shops and downtown. Ample parking and close to freeway without much noise. An excellent lodging experience.

“Surprise In Missoula”

This is one of the better accomodations we have had. Even allowing for the fact that we were nearing the end of a strenuous 7 day road trip, we were onercome with the quiet and comfort. The resturant was a big part of this...it could be characterized as fine dining whatever city or town it was in.

“A gem among gems!”

Be sure to request a river view. My friend stayed in another room in the same hotel and ended up with a room next to the air handler, and below some noisy upstairs guests. I requested an upper floor with a river view and wasn't disappointed. I sat on my balcony reading my book and enjoying the river and fresh air one morning when right before my eyes an osprey swooped down, plucked a fish out of the river and took it back to the nest. It was breathtaking. The only criticism I have is that the balcony chairs were VERY rusty and dilapidated. Otherwise- terrific!

“Very good experience, we'll be back”

We needed a comfy hotel that was close to the hospital for and overnight stay after having out-patient surgery that day. We were so pleased with the room because it was quiet, roomy, with very nice beds and plenty of pillows. The hotel staff were so helpful and room service was terrific.

“still missoula's best motel”

this motel can always be counted on for quality first.the staff is very friendly,helpful and knowlegeable.there is a fisrt rate restaurant on site as well.the rooms are large,very clean and very quiet.rest and privacy are a given.we have stayed here many times in the past .however tried other locations much to our disappointment.and are now sworn to be loyal guests of the edgewater!
