“Really enjoyed !!!!”

After a long day of travelling it was such a pleasure to get to the hotel in Missoula. It was very clean, the bedding was soft & the bed comfortable . The staff was friendly & helpful ..... what more could I need ? I was impressed enough that I booked another room @ the HGI in Middleton WI.

Area recommendations

I do not know this city at all & as I am just passing thru the hotel appears to be located in a safe area. The parking lot is well lit & I had no concerns leaving my vehicle there .... in the morning all was "safe & sound"

“Free cookies!”

The hotel staff were all very helpful. They even had complementary cookies at the front desk every afternoon. The single king bed room was spacious (gigantic compared to other hotel rooms I've stayed in). The in-room mini fridge was a bonus. The housekeeping staff was friendly and responded immediately to an after hours toiletries request. We didn't hear any noise from neighboring rooms. One minus: someone spilled what looked like a blizzard ice cream treat outside of the side entrance. It remained there, melting into a sticky mess, over the last four days of my stay. I would have expected the staff to clean it up by the second day. Aside from that, I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel, it's staff, and the price of my stay.

“Nice hotel, but they charge for breakfast”

Overall, this is a fine hotel, with no issues. It is typical of other Garden Inn properties. I personally wish I had booked at the Hampton Inn, which is pretty much as nice, generally costs less, and has a free breakfast. Garden Inn breakfast is great, but they charge $12.95 or so.

Area recommendations

Nearby is the Sheridan Inn. Buffalo Bill was instrumental in its early history. The dining room is open, and the food is great and reasonably priced. Do not miss it.

“A little disappointed”

Had a great seminar at the hotel, but was disappointed that the spa was not working. Also, confused why I had to upgrade for a breakfast brunch when I booked the hotel, but still had to pay for my breakfast. The hotel is very nicely decorated and very clean. The staff was great too. I would recommend this hotel and hope to go back soon!

“Excellent hotel”

This was an excellent hotel. My only regret that the stay wasn't longer. I loved the relaxing chair with ottoman and side table, and the office chair was dreamy. The staff and especially the housekeepers who greeted me coming and going was just over and above. I would highly recommend this for more than just the overnight on your way to somewhere else stay, but if that's all the time you have, stop off and enjoy this gem.
