“Ruby's a gem”

I could find little to fault about this hotel. Considerably cheaper than major chains down the street, Ruby's is conveniently located between downtown and the airport near the freeway to both. It has all the features of a quality hotel except room service. However, it has the best commuters breakfast I have seen in 50 years of traveling. They have a wifi, small fitness center with 2 treadmills a stair stepper and some free weights, pool, laundry, cable, horse shoe pit (yes, horseshoe pit), comfortably firm beds and bedding, do it yourself laundry, etc. etc. The only improvements would be modernized the heating and AC units, and a little touch up refinishing of minor scrapes on some of the wood furniture legs. But at 2/3 the price of the competition, I would not worry about these trifles.

“Wonderful.”

An excellent value - nice hotel, warm happy staff, hot breakfast with the lightest biscuits and gravy ever, seconds from I-90 and The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Grant Creek in the back yard. I felt at home.

“Nice Family Visit”

Staff was great...and friendly. It felt like they went out of their way to accomodate us. We were 3 couples and may have been a little loud playing cards and visiting in the cafeteria, but all of the staff made us feel at home. My only small complaint was the iron was broken in the room, but the way it was stored it was probably not obvious to the staff. It was not a big problem, and I left them a note. It will more than likely be fixed for the next guest.

“Good hotel, great price”

We were looking for a cheap hotel to stay at near the airport for our first night in Montana, since our flight arrived at midnight mountain time (2:00am Eastern, where we started from). Originally we looked at a few of the usual suspects, like Super 8 and La Quinta, but the prices at the time were very high. Then I found Ruby's, where the price was about half that of the other places. It turns out that they have a nice and convenient shuttle service to and from the airport. So we actually were able to save some $$ by just taking the shuttle to Ruby's in the evening and picking up our car the next day (save a day of car rental). The room was decent, very clean, and the check-in staff were awesome. We stayed here on our last night too, and ended up calling at 11:30am to see if we could get an early check-in, and they got us in a room within the hour. Fantastic. Breakfast is decent, with eggs, french toast, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereal, etc. Overall it was a great experience.

“Great Place to Stay”

We had a great time. We will stay here next time we go to Missoula. We had our large dog with us and she was able to stay in the room with us for a very small fee. The staff were all very nice to her. Ruby's has breakfast every morning for guests. Overall a fantastic place to stay.
