DowntownPosted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Super friendly and awesome staff; easy walking distance to most anything.
Cons: I got put in a room tucked in a corner where the only view out my window was a stucco wall. Not a huge deal
Location: Dining, theater, movies, transportation, the University -- everything but the airport was within easy walking distance.
Was visiting for a long weekend and stayed 3 nights

Great bang for the buckPosted Oct 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel is a little rough around the edges and dated but you shouldn't be expecting the Ritz for the price. Despite looking a bit rough, the amenities were all clean and freshly changed. The owner was extremely helpful and courteous. Location was fantastic. It isn't far from the highway but still has great downtown access. I would stay here again.

THE ROOM WAS FINE BUT THE PARKING AREA IS TERRIBLE, WAY TOO CLOSE TOGETHER AND AT A BAD ANGLE TO PARK RIGHT.

Always a pleasure staying here! So close to downtown and if you don't plan on spending much time in your room then this is just fine. The beds are comfortable and it is clean. The simple breakfast is an added bonus for the price.

Very Nice for PricePosted Oct 13, 2014
Cons: decor could be modernized a bit
Location: Walking distance to Caras Park with permanent carousel and playground. Walking distance to several good restaurants and cafes.
We were attending an event in Caras Park and wanted a hotel we could walk from. Our experience at The Days Inn - University was excellent. Our room was ready on time, the check-in clerk was very friendly. The room was large and pleasant. While you could tell it was an older establishment, it was very clean and nicely furnished. The staff were knowledgeable about local restaurants and made good recommendations. The previous year we stayed at a hotel on the same street which was about twice the cost and did not get twice the service. We will stay at Days Inn - University again.
