RUDE and terrible experience

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Not a thing!
Cons: Everything needs improvement from customer service, cleanliness and being on task, fresh gym/pool towels, clean bathrooms, etc.. It was disgusting!
Location: We went to Arches Park and hiked at the Corona Arch.
My first encounter at the hotel was with the man behind the desk when I was trying to check in. He never even said hello, just "check-in isn't until 4:00"!! I said OK and we came back at 3:40. A gal this time, again never said hello, just, "Check-in isn't until 4:00"! I said I was aware but was hoping 20 minutes early would be OK. We got checked in. The room, especially the bathroom, was filthy!!!! There were long, black hairs all over the floor and the tub! Gross!! There were two large, dead bugs on the floor of the bathroom. The toilet ran non-stop. The next morning I went to the work-out room and my key wouldn't work. So I went to the front desk to get help and there was no one there, just a sign that said "be back soon"! What?????? This is a place of business! I waited about 10 minutes when the same, rude man from the day before showed up. He told me to try the back door of the pool area. Annoying the main door didn't work, but whatever. I got in the work-out room and there were NO towels!! Seriously? It's 7:00 am so obviously the room was not cleaned or stocked from the day before. This was the worst service/experience I've ever had at a Best Western. And for almost $250/night, you'd think you'd get better service!! I'll never recommend or stay at this hotel again. Both those front desk people have no business dealing with the public. They were beyond rude and very unpleasant.

Nothing special

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Location - on the main street in Moab in the center of town
Cons: Room needed painting or touch-up, old thin towels.
Location: Short drive to Arches and Canyonlands NP.
We stayed 2 nights during our summer road trip. Our room was downstairs in a corner, fairly loud and dark. The room was clean but needed some upkeep - patched walls that needed painting and it smelled like the previous guests had been smokers YUCK. It is in a great location in the center of town. Free breakfast was adequate and met our needs. More money than it was worth at $189/night

Decent hotel close to everything in town. Good breakfast. A bit pricey for condition of hotel, but maybe that's what you get in this town .

Yikes, ants and very dirty pool

Posted Jun 23, 2015
The rooms are very old and small. This didn't bother, but the ants and the filthy pool were pretty gross.

Great place to stay

Pros: The breakfast at this hotel was amazing!
Location: This hotel is located in the middle of everything. Walking distance to down town. Short drive to Arches and Canyonland.
We had a great stay, can't complain about anything.

We won't do that again!

The room was infested with ants. Breakfast pastries were stale. My daughter left her swimming suit in the room. We called the front desk at 10am to ask them to send it to us. The lady on the phone acted as if she had zero intent to find the left behind item. Said they will call in 24 hours "if they found it". Unless they have a security issue in the form of a swim suit poacher or the hotel staff just doesn't care about their customers. Either way, we won't be back.

An okay hotel. The plumbing could use some work. The tub/shower took very long to drain. Was standing in ankle deep water by the end of the shower. Overall was a good stay though. Also guests are not allowed to take any food (fruit) from the breakfast area.

Nice motel near Arches National Park

Old motel but neat and clean. An above average breakfast. Personnel were friendly and helpful.

Check in staff seemed uninterested in being helpful. No cart to help with luggage. Our carpet had just been cleaned that day and was wet which we did not realize until after showering and getting ready for bed..

Stay on top floor if possible.

Great location and breakfast. Room is comfortable but upstairs room would be better so nobody matching over your head all night long.
