Nice place to stay in Moab

Pros: Location
The hotel was being updated and my room was nice and I look forward to staying there in the near future. Nice location, and yes I would recommend the hotel.

Great family hotel
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: The hot tub and pool were great.
Cons: Lack of ice machine was only problem we encountered.
Location: Excellent; right down town Moab. We walked to restaurants, shops, grocery store and bakery from our hotel. Very convenient.
This hotel is in the middle of a rennovation, so finding the office was the biggest challenge. That said, the service was still good, the pool and hot tub were great and the room was fine. Met all our needs very adequately. There were lots of families with four wheelers and yet it was still quiet at all times of the day. It is conveniently located right in downtown Moab and was a very good deal.

Price point was good.

Room was adequate. Service by hotel personnel was also fine. Price point was right. Our stay was for two nights - but one before November 1 and the next stay after November 1. Hotel had shut down the main ice machine after November 1 "for the season". Only ice avaiable was in an ice machine across the large parking lot in the pool house. Not a good arrangement after dark. Also room was strongly sented with some type of deoderizer. We were told that they did this because some people's body order was very strong after hiking! The bottomline is that we came back and stayed a second time on the same trip.

Nice place to stay in Moab

Pros: Personal Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator in room
Cons: No breakfast on site
Location: Center of town.
It was nice to have a Keurig coffee maker in our room and the hot tub/pool area I think was available very late. Would have been great to have continental breakfast!

Overpriced
Posted Jan 22, 2012
Very overpriced. Good location in the middle of town but the rooms were not nice. Housekeeping started before 9 and the front desk staff was not at all accomodating. The rooms face out and the street noise was extremely loud since the walls were very thin. The temperature was hard to control.

Best Western in Moab
Posted Jan 17, 2012
Pros: The location is very good and you can walk to restaurants and stores.
Cons: I don't like rooms that open to an outside ramp or corridor.
Location: The location is actually very good, right in downtown Moab.
This is one of those motels where all the rooms are reached by an outside landing or corridor. The window in the room looks onto the landing. The room was a little dark and depressing. It's an old motel and the management is trying, but it still feels like an old outdated motel.

Worst Hotel Ever!
Posted Jan 16, 2012
I am shocked that this hotel would be part of the Best Western family. The room was absolutely filthy. The bathroom had not been cleaned when we arrived, the carpets were dirty, and our room was not cleaned 2 of the 3 nights we were there. We looked for another room but Moab was sold out. Do not book this hotel.

Great location.

Pros: Within walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants.
Cons: Motel parking.
Location: Within walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants.
We have been staying at this motel for the past 5 yrs usually 2-3 times a year. It is in a great location, staff is very helpful and accomodating. Remodel is tasteful. Only issue is the parking - tour buses and vehicles towing rafts, rock crawlers, 4 wheelers, etc; tend to take up parking spaces making it difficult to get in and out of the parking areas. This past visit was worse than ever with the parking issue.
