Clean comfy and great breakfast!

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Room was much nicer than expected, updated recently, great linens and huge tv. Very quiet first night but following 2 nights had very loud walker above and sounds proofing might not be great. Amazing guy that made breakfast, hands down best continental breakfast ever! Surpassed much more expensive hotels even. Apple juice was out... But otherwise amazing, even real coffee! Parking full but not impossible. Couple of people with trailers took up over a dozen spaces. I can see how it could be problematic. During tourist season but we lucked out. Side note, skip Denny's... Eaten there twice in past trip as well and ended up sick afterwards both times!

Pros: Nice breakfast with a selection of hot and cold foods. Well equiped business centre.
Cons: Front desk staff could be welcoming.
Location: Moab is only a 5 minute drive to the entrance to Arches National Park.
Stayed 3 nights at this hotel while visiting Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Comfortable, clean hotel in Moab. We walked one evening to a restaurant and the visitor centre in the centre of town, which was a 10 minute walk. The hotel front desk staff were not friendly.

Convenient hotel in Moab

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: It was very clean and had everything you would expect from a hotel chain. The man looking after breakfast was extremely pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was good, but plastic cutlery and plates are not what you would expect for this price!
Location: Moab is an excellent base from which to explore the Arches and Canyonlands.
We were passing through Moab on our road trip from Denver to Phoenix. The Hampton Inn was easy to find and comfortable, if a little ordinary.

Great place, overpriced

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Cons: Additional parking spaces.
Loved our stay, but parking is a big issue here due to limited spaces but not limited rooms. They shouldn't build a hotel that large if there isn't adequate parking. Everything else was nice, except that it cost much more than I was used to from other Hamptons, probably because of a big race in town.

The Moab Experience

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: NIce rooms; great beds; plenty of parking; all very comfortable.
Location: Hotel is on Main St. Lots of great places to eat and wonderful shopping. Just stroll down the cute main street and browse.
Great hotel in the heart of Moab. Clean, comfortable rooms, great beds and TV. Recomment Moab Adventures and the Sunset Tour of Arches. Also recomment Redrock Astronomy--for a nightime star experience with a great guide--Alex-the Star Guy. Highly recomment the Ekclectic Cafe (spelling?) for wonderful cubano coffee and breakfasts...don't miss the HUGE cinnamon rolls.

Disappointed!

Posted Sep 13, 2014
We visited a bunch of Utah parks and ended up staying at the Hamptons Inn at Zion and then in Moab. The Zion hotel was an awesome experience. In contrast, the Moab hotel was terrible. The hotel looks old and dingy. The hotel reception desk was not helpful. I waited at the front desk to get assistance on how to get to a Moab location. The guy at the desk asked me to hold (along with another lady who was in line). He was on the phone for at least 5 minutes trying to place his lunch order with a restraint. He also made it very obvious his phone conversation had nothing to do with work. After waiting, he said he had no idea where my place was located (even though it was the Moab Tourism Center) nor did he know any street names around the area. I'm usually a patient person when it comes to service, but this was absolutely ridiculous.
