Cons: Mold/Mildew odor in room.
Location: Not much else between Grand Junction, CO and either Salt Lake City or St. George, UT so choose wisely...
[1] We were checked in "functionally", but it was not a welcoming experience. [2] The room appeared clean, but the carpet smelled of mold/mildew, so if you suffer from these allergens, go elsewhere. [3] Breakfast was simple, but a good value for being included in the Rate.

Fun with the family

Went with the famiy for the first time to visit Moab and this is where we stayed. It's a bit far from Moab but we got a good price and it's a really hotel. I feel like it was worth staying there for the price, breakfast, staff, etc.

The next closest hotel to Moab
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: The shower. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water!
Cons: Pool was closed during our stay.
We enjoyed our stay during the Easter break and the jeep safari that was held in Moab. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff did a great job Easter morning keeping the breakfast room stocked even when it was full of people. The only thing we didn't like was that the pool was closed for repairs while we were there. That was one thing we looked for while booking our rooms...an indoor pool.

horrible blood stained comforter, lousy desk staff
Posted Jan 1, 2013
Pros: Favorite thing was being able to check out of this dump.
Cons: too many to mention... everything....
Location: It is Green River, Utah... what did I expect?
Was greeted by a VERY inexperienced desk clerk. Could not find my reservation, insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about, and that the mistake was my issue to deal with. He was then quick to attempt to sell me 2 other rooms at higher than the price I paid on Expedia. After arguing awhile he miraculously found my reservation (imagine that). Upon getting to our rooms, we found one to have only 1 bath towel and the second to have no towels at all. While using the shower the water turned off for a couple of minutes. The topper of the whole stay was a blood stained comforter on one of the beds.... nice job Holiday Inn Express, I will never stay at another property again!

Friendly and Efficient
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Quick, easy check in. Clean and efficient.
Location: We pend time in the desert near here and this was a great location, not far from Moab or the San Rafel Swell back country
Quite a new Hotel. Front desk gals were friendly and effecient as we came and went. Room was a bit small, but space was used well and the lighting options made a corner chair very useful. There was seating, a table and an out of the way place for luggage.
